I have read the book and watched the movie and for some reason my mind is still thinking negative thoughts, can someone please give me some advise on how to change to positive thoughts...
I understand what you are saying, sometimes I can't stop them either, but I think the trick is to reprogramme your mind and start saying positive things over and over again.
I sometimes get stuck in the negative zone for days! its crazy, but then I shift my mind and do something positive. for example: put outfits together for the next week - that sounds crazy but it's fun try it! as you go through your clothes you put things together that normally you'd not wear together and it's really a great fun thing to do.
another thing you can do which sounds stupid, but it's positive and makes your mind change it's focus: go through your make up and clean up your brushes, sharpen your eyepencils, re arrange the way your dresser is.
Start doing little things that shift your focus and you'll feel more positive. It's crazy, but it works.
try it, you've nothing to lose. it sounds boring and dumb, but it's not, I promise.
If you've got a dog, wash it and groom it. anything that'll take your mind off YOU is a good way to begin.
Another thing to try is just to acknowledge negative thoughts - then let them pass as clouds in the sky. The trick I find is then I avoid being stuck in them and with them. Takes practice but what doesnt.
I love how this community is so powerful and sharing and how we are becoming one.
One more thing you might want to do at those points is focus on your breathing. become still. focus on the breath, breathing in, breathing out. Breath in through the nose and breathe out through the mouth. When we breathe out through the mouth the negative emotions come out with them.
I can share a book that will also help long way on focus and also the encouragement that will come along with it.
Try to recognize that there is a big difference between fighting negative thoughts and shifting focus to something positive. The shifting focus is a helpful thing to do that will eventually become habit when you have negative thoughts in the future. Fighting the negative thoughts, though, just feeds the negativity and maintains your resistance for longer, which keeps you out of the flow.
What I have found really helpful is to approach negative thoughts and feelings with an attitude along the lines of "OK, I'm feeling this right now...Oh well. What can I think of that I am grateful for?" or "OK, here's this negative thought, what evidence can I find to disprove it?" instead of what I did initially, which was more along the lines of, "OMG I'm having this negative thought/feeling!!! I HAVE to make it GO AWAY NOW or I'll COMPLETELY RUIN my life/future/blah blah blah!!!" Using the second approach sent me in a tailspin of panic and negativity several times before I figured out and started using the first approach, and now, because I'm resisting less, my negative thoughts and emotions are decreasing on their own. I still have them on occasion, but not as frequently as before, and the amount of time that the negative feelings/and thoughts stay with me is much less, too.

Please dont discount ALL negative thought, ALL THINGS IN LIFE HAVE IT REASON FOR EXISTING.
IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT A NEGATIVE THOUGHT, HOW WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT A POSITIVE THOUGTH LIKE?
And please dont be put of by negative thought or advise. Because sometimes, good/postive advise might be negative advise in disguise and bad/negative advise might be good/positive.
Huh? i know, let me explain.
For example: If your grossly over weight, your positive friend drops by and said," IT OK HONEY, I LOVE THE WAY YOU ARE, DONT CHANGE A THING, HERE HAVE A PIECE OF THIS JUICY OILY CHICKEN TO FEEL GOOD!"
Another negative friend drop by and said" HEY YOU LAZY BUM! WHY DONT YOU JUST TAKE A NEEDLE FULL OF OIL AND PUMP INTO YOUR HEART AND GET OVER WITH IT. GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP AND EXERSIZE BEFORE YOU KILL YOURSELF OR KILL THE CAT BY SITTING ON IT."
So which one is positive and negative? I know this is overly simplfy example but you know what i mean.
So how to difference the 2?

The answer is simple - plant good thoughts! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the negative thoughts will be wiped out. Don't focus on the negative thoughts, just deliberately think more good thoughts every day.
You do not have to erase negative thoughts you have had. All you have to do is feel good and think good thoughts right now, and you will shift yourself to a completely different frequency where no negativity exists. No matter what you have thought in the past, whether ten years ago or one minute ago. Now is where all your power is. Right NOW YOU CAN USE YOUR POWER AND SHIFT YOURSELF. When you know this, you can move through your life without fear or regrets, because you can always think good thoughts NOW.
It takes practice Crystal, the skill is acquired and it does get easier, it really does.....Just remember, how much more powerful a positive thought is, it's baby steps in quantum leaps and bounds!
