I have read the book and watched the movie and for some reason my mind is still thinking negative thoughts, can someone please give me some advise on how to change to positive thoughts...

Start Positive Thoughts About Everything That Catches Your Attention!
And you already gave yourself the answer by saying:

and that's exactly what you have to do; Change theses negative thoughts into positive once!
But that not yent! Watch your feelings also as they are connected to your thoughts.
Change theses bad feelings or emotions also in good emotions & feelings.
You don't need a reason for this to work. But if your mindset needs a reason, than find one...
...or give it a reason. You're the boss on bord, that's why you pretenciously can do itbig grin!
PERIOD batting eyelashes!
And as you're the Executive Director...the rest has no other choice than
to follow your loving commands.
Watch yourself on this by just being aware of your internal Dialogue (..or conversations between thoughts, emotions & your body..) and change whatever you think doesn't serve you to be happy, whether it's big or little....most of the time, they are little....lol..!
Let them talk the same language and walk in the same direction!

Negative feelings are important, don't fear them, they are part of the natural creation process. They do not manifest instantly, there will always be a healthy period of time between thought and manifestation to allow you to change the belief if you wish. Negative feelings provide useful feedback to tell you whether or not what you're focusing on is in line with what you intend or want.

easy....right down all the positive things in your life...wirte them down everyday...sign it every day and then give yourself something as a reminder so you can recall all the positive things that you can be greatful and thankful for...soon all your negative thoughts will disappear...I myself use a pin that was given to me by someone...this pin seems to always put me back on track...I keep it in my pocket and I am forever seeing it, touching it, putting it up at night or grabbing it in the morning...but start out with just writing down all things good in your life that you can be thankful and greatful for...It starts out slow and don't loose sight, remember we have all been brought up to see the negative...Now it's time for a change in your life...It will be a change for the better...Sit for a few minutes in the morning and in the evening and close your eyes and just remind yourself that you are the master of your thoughts...you control what you think...You will be astounded at how fast your thoughts will drive from the negative to the positive...Say hello to total strangers as you walk by them, tell someone one thank you when you get change at the store...Do this everyday and watch how fast your life will change...

For one hour......just one hour when you are around people, work the mall, where ever (complete strangers).....set yourself a goal of getting at least 3 people to smile. Do this at least once a day for a week and then extend it more each day. You will see amazing results, I promise.

The first time I practiced this, I chose my commute into work. Every morning I stopped at the local quick mart and bought the same thing for lunch later. I couldn't even tell you what one of the clerks looked like, much less their name. After about two weeks I stopped in and realized my wallet was not in my purse when checking out. My total wasn't much - $5 to $6 at the most. Not even an ATM card. The clerk pulled out of her pocket a $10 and told me to pay her back tomorrow. Here was a woman, I never had the time of day for to learn her name in the past, and she was loaning me, a total stranger some money, and only because we smiled and had mindless chitchat over the past couple of weeks.

It works...it really does, and even knowing it works doesn't make it any easier to kick yourself in the rear to get back into it. Somehow, someway, I got away from my little tips, tricks and techniques and saw my life move in a direction I don't like. I came to this site to get back to where I was.. Your post made me remember it's not just a switch you turn on, but something you have to work a bit each day. Give yourself baby step challenges - make a child laugh, get 10 people to wave back while driving.......to instantly assist 3 people (like open door, pick up something they dropped).........

So what does this have to do w/ banishing negative thoughts? Soon...there will be more smiles than negative thoughts, a spring in your step......and as those thoughts come, treat them like any pest, and tell them to go away. But I do agree, don't dismiss them w/out examination unless they are dreaded re-runs in your head. Negative thoughts alert us to danger and can prevent us from making serious mistakes. But, I am certain there will be fewer negative thoughts.

Wow - some wonderful suggestions here! Any one of them will help you move toward your goals - just pick the one that resonates most with you right now, when you are ready you can add another technique. Negative thoughts and feelings are habitual patterns of thought - we can change them through repetition and practice, just as we created the negative ones.

One thing I use: I have 'touchstones' or 'anchors' that I use to help me catch myself in the moment. I make jewelry with positive words and phrases on it - for example, I have a ring that says 'courage faith trust love' and when I find myself getting into a 'snit' or feeling negative about something, I will often accidentally glance at my jewelry or play with it and the right word just appears - like 'faith' or 'love' and I can remember to shift my focus to that emotion/thought. You could use anything for the process - a 'gratitude' stone - like from the secret, your favorite ring or necklace or anything you have with you all the time. You could train yourself to use something mundane - like quarters - it's all about teaching yourself to have associations.

nothing wrong with negative thoughts when they appear, however whenever you can, be aware. do not give in to negative thoughts. accept them, say oh hey a negative thought, and then think something positive. just keep actively thinking positive thoughts. don't spend anytime thinking of something bad that happened, just go, oh well but so what, and then move into thinking something positive about the situation or start thinking about something else. :)

also something i really like is to concentrate on how you feel inside. and then just smile for one minute. it's amazing. :) and if you like just carry on smiling. yay. hehe. :)

Thank the universe for what you have) To be honest, I'm afraid to think negatively now. Today I finaly realised how powerful the mind is. Especially today, I was barely able to get rid of these thoughts. What worked a miracle for me was some good music that makes you wanna dance.))) I was so overwhelmed today with all kinds of emotions that I put on music and started dancing! Hahahaha)) Insane, right? I forgot what I was upset about and my mood went up and with it positive thoughts) So if appriciating doesnt work and the bad ones still creep into your mind, find something to take your mind off of it even if it means dancing like crazy in your room. I found my thing)
