How will your happiness be your greatest gift to others this week?

Aloha Everyone,

Today I picked from my " Abe Card Deck and the card that
popped up said:

" My happiness is my greatest gift to others."

I was not feeling all that happy because for the last two
days I fell into the old " do stuff for others while I
don't get to do my own fun stuff ", mode.

So I realized I had to decide , this red hot minute, to
be focused on my happiness, not matter if I was doing
something for them OR for me!

It was the feeling first and than the action!

Well, DUH,

I do know this stuff , it's just the awareness that snaps
me back to focus!

So when I was in my gym class today and got a call from
school that my son was sick ( he just forgot his inhaler
), because I was aware, I decided to have fun with him
anyway, as that would take care of everything.

And it DID!

I told jokes, fooled around, instead of being mad he
forgot his inhaler.

By the time we got home he was fine, and I got a lot of
great laughs with him, plus we got to have fun together!

We both had a much better day than either of us would have
had under the " circumstances ".

How will your happiness be your greatest gift to others this week?

THIS IS WHAT BRINGS ME HAPPINESS...LOCAL BUSINESS MAN IS HELPING OUR TROOPS AND CHILDREN IN A UNIQUE AND SPECIAL WAY!
Gary Tennant, CEO of Private Coach Limos volunteers his time and the services of his limos to pick up returning veterans at the airport and take them home in style, giving them special VIP treatment. He also takes children and their family home from the hospital in style with one of his special limos that includes a stop at the local ice cream shop for a special treat. Gary likes to give the family something positive to remember about their hospital stay. Gary covers the cost of his vehicles and his time for this service that brings him as much joy as it does the families. Recently, someone asked him if she could send him a $50 contribution to help cover some of the cost for gas. He was humbled by her offer and graciously accepted. She then said that she was going to tell her business women’s group of more than 400 women about what he was doing and ask them to help support his wonderful humanitarian and generous effort. Gary Tennant is giving to families in the valley in a way that brings them fun and an experience that many have never had. That treats with dignity and respect and tells them they are special. He treats like them like VIP's! I would like to suggest that if you would like to help contribute in a unique way to our service men and women, as well as those children and families who have been challenged with a hospital stay, be brought home in style and fun that you contact Gary directly to see how you might help him out. And, if you are in need of special transportation for an event or just want to treat someone to something special, contact Private Coach Limos or give Gary a call. His rates are some of the most reasonable in the valley. You can reach Gary directly at 602/653-9340 or email him at gary@privatecoachlimos.com

Smiles, Sharon from Portland Oregon

I am happy because my Darling Daughter has decided to go into rehab for meth addiction. She is homeless and has been an addict for many years. Since discovering the SECRET I have changed from worrying to Knowing that she is happy and well and secure. I think of her greeting me at the door of her home smiling.

It's so interesting you would post this. I had a mommy brain on Monday. Both my kids where scheduled on the same day to see their diabetes Dr. I had my oldest out of school for the day as it takes up much of our time for the appointment since it's at Children's here in Seattle. We get there and the receptionist said my kids weren't in today's schedule. I asked him to look again, well, I had the right day, but wrong month. So we made it a day of play! I took them to Ivar's on Lake Union and had lunch out on the barge watching the boats go by, then to a park to run off their energy. The weather was perfect! I'm so glad we did that as it's dumping rain today (liquid sunshine).

Thanks for posting this! Here's something fun that also fits from Calvin and Hobbs (hope this loads):

Since yesterday i was really feeling down, not sure if it was a flue or an allergy..
I can't breath... easily and I am having fever as well, and stuffy nose, runny nose, pressure in my forehead, you got the picture .... and that is not all, I was having an Insomnia for weeks, so I did EFT and hypnosis and basically last night I said to myself no more Insomnia and took my self to bed early, slept all night, but my face area, head, eyes, ears and throat were and still suffering.
Hope all is well with you, not like myself... BUT I am happy because I have decided to keep taking care business, working on my well being, doing more healing and EFT to myself...plus resting...

Thanks for allowing me to vent out :)

Love Doreen

Wow Marcy, Thats great!

Its true. Instead of getting frustrated , think differently or ask ourselves a GOOD question.

Change you, change your world.

Visualise yourself surrounded by all of the people that you know. These people are part of your world. If there are some things you do not like about them, change the way you think about them. In turn, your 'world' will change.

For example: Mr Q is always complaining about every little thing. Instead of getting frustrated by this, ask yourself a GOOD question. I wonder whats going on with him that makes him act this way?

Now watch your thoughts towards him change. You are no longer frustrated or angry with him. Sure, it won't change Mr Q, but it will make you feel alot better within yourself. Mr Q has to want to change. Change you, change your world.

I share with you my understanding of how to ask a GOOD question with these following examples.

It's only lunchtime for Miss J and so far everything has gone totally wrong with her morning. She asks herself 'Why does this always happen to me? Why can't I do anything right?' and doesn't understand why her day just keeps getting worse.

If she had only asked a question like this: What can I do to experience joy right now? Her whole day would have turned out alot better.(listen to your thoughts)

Mrs R found herself reminising about all the hardships she had suffered in the past. EG: had a serious accident; became bankrupt; business venture turned bad; lost a loved one; whatever the case may be. She made herself feel down, angry and annoyed by thinking things like: Why did they do this to me? Why did this happen to me?

All Mrs R had to do was ask herself a GOOD question. What do I have to do in order to re-gain my confidence and move on from this? Is there any other possible meaning that this experience could have? How can I understand this in such a way where I feel that I am able to move on?
By asking a GOOD question, Mrs R would have had the chance to find courage and understanding within herself.

We all have a choice in our lives in any given circumstance. Either look at the pain, or see the gain.

I hope these examples have been helpful to you.
If a situation arises where you find yourself searching for a GOOD question, try this one. What is a good question that I could ask right now?

The hardest part for me was being AWARE of what my thoughts were asking. As strange as this may seem, from my own personal experience, GOOD questions really do work. Discover it for yourself and realise the benefits of asking a good question.

Be strong, be happy & take on each day with a smile.

LL.

I have been working on my Christmas Craft Projects and needed to purchase some new products. The last time I went into Michael's Craft Store near my home, a wonderful woman took an exceptional amount of time to help me collect the right products to make my Angel Creation. I told her that when I came back I would bring her one of the finished angels. That was a month ago. Today she helped me to find something I couldn't find, and I realized that she did not remember me, (why would she, she waits on many people everyday.) After I got the product I gave her the Angel and she was so surprised, she hugged me and said I made her day. She was so happy...such a simple thing made her so happy. Finding time to think of others and the hard job they have to do, and how they help us, is such a simple way to bring appreciation and joy to others. So simple...I appreciate that by making her happy it made me even happier.
I love my life and I love to make others happy. I am so grateful to be able to bring joy to others.

LOL (LOVE OUT LOUD)
NAMASTE

Hi LL
Thanx for this, it has helped me with finding a way of changing my feelings by finding the right question, something I have had a challenge with. So simple, yet simple seems to sometimes be the hardest to grasp.

Have an awesome day

Earlier this week, we, moslem from all over the world, celebrated our Aidl Fitr, a festival at our end of fasting month of Ramadhan. After a full month of fasting in the daytime, we control our mind, eyes, ear and lips from any bad deeds, at the end we got some kind of victory.

At Aidl Fitr, we show our concern to unfortunate others that still need some share from the community. We support the poor with money, food and attention as a manifestation of our grateful.
In Indonesia, some people went back home town and had a family gathering and sharing the joy.

Gratefulness brings joy and keep us in balance. We really miss our month of Ramadhan.
