It was thundering, raining heavily, and the clouds were really dark. But as soon as I said, "Why did it stop raining?" It went away immediately...well, after 5 to 6 repeats. But that's still huge.
Then the next afformation to practice was, "Why did the clouds clear up?" And I just looked out of the window and I'm seeing microscopic shades of pinkish-yellow in the clouds. Might be my perception, but what's for sure is some clouds are getting whiter.
UPDATE: Right now I am seeing a beautiful sky, pink clouds, yellow clouds, blue sky, it's f**king amazing. Wish I took a picture of it.
Well like anything, there are different ways of doing this. I've seen some medicine people in Africa actually pray for rain and get it - and I've also seen some people pray away rain too. Afformations, affirmations, even prayer are all very powerful mediums. However the important thing is not to get invested in the outcome, as thats where we often trip ourselves up. You see, its like relationships, when you are seeking them out and desperate for one - it gives off a vibe and people run. Same with weather, when you are so invested, and then start providing resistance you block yourself. Your example is brilliant, as you were clear in your desire, but you weren't giving yourself doubtful thoughts like "I can't" or "it never will" etc etc. Cool experiment. I used to do that with parking spaces - and no matter which city I was in - I would always get the perfect spot close to where I needed to go.
I have changed the weather many times and "re-routed" at least 2 major storms and a hurricane since I began practicing "talking to the elements" a few years ago. My preferred method is to go to my back door or look out the window and speak what I want to see, like clouds being blown in a different direction and the sun coming out, emphasizing that it's MY reality so I can choose what I want, but I always give thanks too. A couple of days ago rain was predicted for the 2nd day in a row and it was mostly cloudy but I needed to go buy some things so I decided to take my chances anyway even though I don't like driving in the rain. When I was still not too far from home I realized I had forgotten to take my umbrella and began feeling upset because I didn't want to drive back, then I just said something like "Well, now you can't rain, please hold it at least until I'm done". I got to visit 4 stores, even partial sunshine happened and there was no rain at all until the next day actually.
