Hey everyone :)
Umm.. I need some help with my dog real bad. We got her, 10 months ago and I absolutely love her to bits. Like literally, every day has been a constant joy with her but.. we let her go because she is a working cocker spaniel and we's thought they were the virtually the same as show cocker spaniels and well, turns out they're not. Working cocker spaniels need around 3hrs running around exercise a day, we were killing ourselves to provide her with an hour and a half. I still wanted to keep her but we let her go. She lives around 40miles away and I still want her back desperately. So.. umm I need your help on how to do that.
Little bg info: I live with my parents, I go to college so we can't afford to keep her really. I can't put her basket out and stuff like that because I know that everyone in my house will react badly to that and then I'll feel more depressed and thus push her away etc.with feeling bad. So I could really do with advice on acting as if (love you lots!!) :)
This is my ideal situation: Me with my family living next door to Lucy (that's my dog). We're best friends with our next door neighbours and the neighbours work Lucy on a farm. I get to see Lucy every day and I can still walk her, train her etc. In fact, the neighbours love that I do that and are very grateful (so I don't feel awkward about looking after Lucy). The neighbours are really friendly, and incredible dog owners. The neighbours also own another dog, also working cocker spaniel - dark brown and white patchy fur. The neighbours are a family - husband and wife with two sons. One my age, the other at university so the other one at home for holidays and stuff like that. I get on really well with the son my age (I figure it would be nice to hang out with someone whilst looking after Lucy, again I would feel like I'd be imposing less and plus I, well, I want a boyfriend :D). I'd still be able to take Lucy for walks often, along with the other dog and the neighbours would love me to do this.
If you could give me any advice, tips, guidance at all I would absolutely LOVE you!! I'm not sure how to start exactly.. If I visualize seeing her for the first time, like out of the blue on my street I feel amazign and I can really sustain that feeling and those thoughts but should I visualize walking her or being in the neighbours house, looking after her or what? I'd really appreciate anything and everything. Success stories, little notes, anything! Oh and if you could like visualize the success story or something I'd really appreaciate that too, even if just once. I'm not sure if the LOA works that way with other people but if it does then it's worth a shot, right?
Lots and lots and lots of love! :D
Oh and I'll post up the success story once it's manifested :)
I get attached to animals so easily. Wishing you well with your dog and lots and lots of love!
surround her with LOVE! Envision her with light & love! I've lways had a VERY strong connection to animals. They pick up on our energy so easily! Keep us posted! ;)
I don't know if this will help, go to page 92, 142, dog name is Rudy
Is that page 92 in "The Secret" forum or the general one? And what do you mean by 142? I'm looking now :)
oops I didn't put a link I can be such a nong head:) was late and worrying of other threads
92, 142 link if you click on the + can see better.
So if I understand you,
you got a high energy dog that you were unable to provide enough attention and exercise for so you gave her to a home that could do so?
You go to school and live at home so you are not around enough to provide for your pet in a way she needs.
If this is the case you want to think of something that makes you happy and the dog and all involved are happy , and it seems like you have.
But enjoy the FEELING of your "fantasy", rather than the " how to" of how it happens, so the Universe can deliver it in the best way possible.
Aww thank you guys!!! :) You've been so helpful and so supportive! :)
What you've all put has been really helpful, do you have any ideas on "acting as if" though? I've got poo bags and treats in my pockets but I can't think of anything else.. Any ideas would be much appreciated :)
