I am new here and searching for some answers.
I'm creating a Vision Board and I've printed out both the Secret Check and the Magic Check. First off, are they both the same? Do I need to fill both out? And when filling them out, what date do I put on them?
Thanks so much for your help.
I've found that I've made the same mistake Sir Neil, I am assuming my prize will come "just a little later". But when we do that, we might be always chasing that imaginary timeline and our prize will always be a just out of reach. It's also really sunk in that I have to "pretend" or live my now how I want my now to be. Tell myself that I have my dream job and live it today. I have the perfect body and feel it today...etc. Pretend I am driving a porsche instead of what I'm in now. I find that when I try to find good things about objects or traits I'm not completely comfortable with, I end up unable to stop focusing on the negative. I'm going to experiment with how it feels to just pretend something is completely new and different. I think this will have somewhat of a similar effect as visualization, but kind of like a vivid version of visualization....a simulation? Haha. We will see how it goes. I heard in one of the rhonda byrne audiobooks about a woman who had her dream job in mind but was unemployed. She decided she needed to act as if she really had her dream job. She proceeded to set her alarm each morning for a time she would need to get to her dream job at 730 am, then she would take a set lunch break, sit at a desk during the day...etc. This helped the woman to manifest her dream job quickly. She felt as if she was participating in the actions of the job which helped her to feel as if she already had it. That is the piece I am missing. Excited to find it!
I am going to print up a magic cheque and make it out to myself. It has worked before and it can work again. It would also be very nice to have some extra money in the run up to Christmas.
This is a good reminder!
Something else to be aware of is to intend for the money to come to you in NICE WAYS ONLY. You don't want it through things like job loss and redundancy money (unless a better job comes along) bereavement, or an insurance pay-out after an accident.
