Thats awesome to hear!
I Encourage you to attend the tough mudder.
That is one of your goals and your company opened up the opportunity for you to travel somewhere close to Seattle.
If your already going to be getting a rental you should definitely take advantage of the beautiful opportunity that you have to attend the event..
I know you might be going alone, but one of the best thing that I have learned is that being alone and really getting to know yourself is the most wonderful things you can do for you mind body and spirit.
This sounds like a challenge god or the universe, or whatever higher power is out there to test you and see if your willing to take action and get to know your self.
This is where you give up who you are for who you will become.
Go do the tough mudder! On the way to BC and to Seattle I advise you to listen and or ready the book thePower of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent. ( this is from amazon, Just so you know what the book looks like) This book really really changed my way of thinking.
I was in almost the same situation only I was doing a soccer try out for collage. I didn't want to be alone, neither did I want to try out by my self.
I would listen to this book in my car on my way to the try out and I was mentally prepared for the tryout and for being alone the whole time. It really helped me find my inner self and unlock the power of the mind that has been hiding In my subconscious mind. And, I was able to attract a full ride scholar ship into my life.
I applied the same principles to other parts in my life and I have been able to attract professional soccer try outs, beautiful wife, and nice lifestyle by the beach.
If you want to know more I actually made a report on it. To help others on their journey to attracting what they want in life. Check it out if your interested just go here unfoldtheuniverse.com
You are half way there! All you need to do is sign up for the race..
Btw.. I live in mexico now and they don't have those races over here.. I would love to do it though.. Please go, and let me know how AWESOME it is.
To your awesome self Momo,
way to go!!
Great story but Don't worry about anything. Seattle feels like an Canadian city in America. You really won't be able to tell that much difference between Seattle people and people in Vancouver . I believe you will like it in Seattle. The one thing I love about Seattle is people pretty much leave you alone so if you're on vacation or just simply exploring you will get to enjoy yourself.
So have fun in the 206!! !!
