So, the reason why I made this topic is because I wanted to clear up a lot of confusion I've been seeing here on the forums. There has been posts and discussions on here about people claiming the mind or inner self and the universe is the same entity, and I'm going to debunk this, because I do not want to see people in here or myself disempowered.
The inner self is the voice in your head and helps you make decisions based on your emotions and thoughts. However, sometimes this voice could mislead you if you are ignorant about the law of attraction or spirituality, one example being a person who constantly feels guilt consistently based on what this inner self or entity is saying. So to make things a bit more simple, it would be more like as if you were talking to yourself, or sometimes even another spirit.
Everybody has their own inner self in their mind regardless if that person knows spirituality or not. The car salesman, the guy down the street, your mother, your father, and so forth. People typically speak to their inner self such as when nobody is around, sometimes people refer to this as one who talks to himself. Not every person has the same entity in their mind.
Lastly, the inner self, entity, spirits, or whatever, is completely separate from the universe. The universe's job is to operate by the law of attraction, because this is law. It's job is to rotate the planets and to do whatever laws it has been assigned to do (such as the law of gravity or law of seduction). So regardless of what the voice in your head says or does, it can help or hinder you based on how it corresponds to the universe. A bad decision could be made for example, and one could blame the universe for the lack of wisdom of this decision. Do not confuse the two, because they are completely separate positions.
Thanks, and happy new year.
