as a former “boundary” Christian (meaning I never really got involved but was brought up on guilt and therefore stayed on the boundary) we were always taught that tarot was evil.....of the devil they’d say.
like LOA states....you make happen what you expect to happen
as such every very time I dabbled in tarot I felt guilty and afraid......about 10 years ago I started doing tarot card readings for myself and the results were amazingly accurate......however shortly after I began doing the readings I suffered a blood infection that almost killed me.
it scared the crap out of me ..... after I recovered I stapled the pages of my tarot readings journal together and put the cards away. Blaming them for the events.
Since then I've found myself drawn back to tarot.....single card readings every day seem, as before, to be very accurate and positive.
I haven't done a full reading for myself and I was genuinely curious where if at all tarot fits in with LOA?
all contributions appreciated
I know some people say you can ask a question into the cards while you're shuffling them. And then when you lay out the spread the cards will answer your question. But I have noticed in my experience that that didn't work for me. But I also noticed that the cards often reflected what was on my mind even if it had nothing to do with my question. After noticing that over and over I just stopped asking questions and just let the cards reflect what was on my mind.
When there wasn't much on my mind and not a whole lot going on in my life I noticed that the cards didn't seem to say anything or make any sense. So I stopped giving myself readings at those times. When there was things on my mind and things going on in my life that's when I noticed the cards seem to reflect what was going on.
So I see them as a mirror that reflects what is going on with us at any given moment, much like our dreams at night do. And they both contain symbolic imagery. I don't see interpreting dreams or tarot cards as evil, although if you believe something bad might happen as a result of using them then you might just attract it because you believe that strongly.
I don't have a whole lot of experience with tarot cards so there might be other ways of using them or ways to get answers. I'm just sharing what I noticed in my short time of giving reading for myself and others. The only way I can see to use them for LOA purposes is to give yourself readings once in a while to see if you're in alignment with your desire. If you're trying to manifest a girlfriend or boyfriend and the cards show the two of cups, you could very well be in alignment with that desire. It's probably on your mind at the least anyway. You could also put the two of cups up on your wall where you can see it every day, similar to a vision board, so you can keep your desire on your mind.
