Trying to attract a job...what am I doing wrong??

You may not be thinking wrong as such but maybe not thinking about enough of the picture. Ask yourself question like "why do I want a job?". Think about what are the benefits to you of having a job. Think outside the square and focus on the pleasurable benefits more than being able to pay the bills although this is still part of it. You may want to consider some sort of business rather than a job too. Imagine the various options and notice how your body reacts. Does it tense and feel uncomfrotable with a particular image or does it relax and feel warm and comfortable.

The different feelings will tell you how your subconscious feels about the various options. Try this with the thought of getting a job at all as well. Does your subconcsious have some reason to avoid this or is there a belief that it is difficult to get a job?

The subconscious is always drawn towards pleasure and away from pain so focus on those pleasurable benefits of having an income be it from a job or a business. This could be something like taking a loved one to a movie or for a meal. Being able to buy nice things or save for something big like a car or house even.

Believe you will have a job and let it fall in your lap. And let go of deadlines. Two months is not that long. It could just be the right one has to open up for you first. The more you fret the longer it will take. My best to you that your job materializes.

Hi Brandy... this might sound challenging yet it will work...

First thing to realize is that our 'thinking' doesn't carry anywhere near the power that our FEELING carries.
So set an intention around the kind of job you'd like... then go into your heart and FEEL what it FEELS like
to have that job. The best way to get into your heart is to simply touch your heart center and make a circular
motion while imagining and pretending that you are working at that job.

You want to find a way to get your focus OFF of the fact that you need a job!
Do you have a job currently? If so... throw yourself into it with a joyful abandon.
If not... put out your resumes wherever you're inspired and meanwhile go do some volunteer work or
something else that will call forth your attention.

Hi Brandy,

Maybe the right "job" hasn't presented itself for you.
I choose to leave a job a couple of months ago that paid very well, but I did not feel appreciated; I worked long hours; I did not feel like I had help and support when I needed it; it created alot of stress for me and when I learnt a few 'home truths' about the company I no longer felt honest working there.
I worked up the courage to give my notice and be open to new job offers. After working for the last company, I decided that I would put forward to the universe everything that I wanted in a job and not accept anything less.
This is what I focased on...........
Creating a high income and visualising my shopping sprees and lots of money in my bank account; being appreciated & that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when someone says thank you after you help them; working less hours & maintaining a healthy balance between work and play; recieving regular training sessions with my own mentor; feeling connected with the people I work with & developing close friendships with them; & being proud to stand behind a product that I believe in.....This is just a small list of some of the outcomes that I wanted with my new job.

Well a new business venture presented itself to me within a week. I must admit it took me a little bit of time to do some research on the company to make sure it was everything it said it was. I now work for myself from home, I have everything that I wanted within a company from support; training; product; and a means to create an early retirement (within 2 years).

So instead of focasing on a job, I focased on the outcome and was open to whatever came my way as long as it offered all that I wanted. Extremely happy I did.

Hey Brandy, i'll answer by using a previous post (my 3rd time on here doing so :)

quick story:
a few years back i had just graduated and was looking for a salaried job. i was only working part time AND living w/ my parents which was only suppose to be for 2 months but it ended up being a year b/c i hadn't a full time job. My plan was to get a real job and then get an apartment in NYC (i was in NJ at the time) I sent my resume to about 100 places, seriously. nothing. my thinking was: i want to move into the City --> but i can't because l don't have money -->and i don't have money because i don't have a real job. this was going on for almost a year. then finally, i had had enough! i didn't care anymore. i was going to move into the City even if i had to live all the way uptown in a not so great apartment! I really really wanted to move out my parents place and live in the City i loved. i started to look for apartments online and actually gave myself a deadline to move out.

guess what? less than a week after i had seriously made up my mind to move out, I got a great job! Now, instead of looking for a place that was cheap and way uptown i was able to spend more money for a better apartment AND it was in the neighborhood I always wanted to live in!!
moral of the story? the LOA moves when u move - not necessarily physically moving but emotionally, by feelings. All that time i was having the feelings of despair of NOT being in the City and NOT having a job. But when i made up my mind to move even w/ little money, i had the feeling of excitement and many other great feelings b/c i was finally gonna move into the city. My feelings connected w/ LOA and it brought the very thing i was looking for: a job and a great place in the City!

ask yourself why you want a new job and when you list those reasons, go ahead and go about achieving those things anyway and a new job will manifest quickly!

Hi Brandy! This is how I attracted my current job as well as the one prior to that!....Hope this helps: "I drove around and looked for a place I thought I'ld like to work. I parked next to it, felt what it would be like....Knew that I had to have it....and told myself it was mine and 'accepted' the position (Any) within the institute and within 3 days, I had the job!" I just looked for it until I found the right place for me! Give it try and let me know how it works out for you. Hugs and Abundance........eileen

I just got a translation-job from a Company that called me for it ... lol ... But however, to get back to Sitsell, seems that they have the exact tools you need to work online for example, from home, where you're not left behind in the process. Works perfectly in both way, no matter if you're a seasoned Html-Pro/Beginner or a total Newbie on the subject. Take a look on Sitesell.That should be sth. for you! I dont have an answer to your question since I've been in the same position since July 2007.....Ive been looking for a higher paying job....

I just wanted to say that I hope you find what you are looking for and don't get discourage even if the methods others have used do not work for you as quickly as they worked for them

Hold on, have faith, and whenever you feel the spirit of doubt seeping in....get rid of it and remind yourself that your timing is different from perfect timing and all good things happen in perfect timing!!

I didnt get that new job this year but I am still praying that it will come soon!!

ok first of all u need to think about how u view money...what image comes up for u? this is how u feel about money...now u need to change it to someone that turns u on..this is now your money partner..u talk to thispartner..u ask him/her what u can do to make them happy...to want to stay with you...i had such fear about money and i was always chasing it...as soon as i turned money into a hottie a great very well paying; job came my way...try it!! talk to your money!
