For the life of me I cannot seem to attract a job. Does anyone have any advice on how I could view things to attract a job to myself? I am under the impression I am thinking "wrong" as it has been two months!
what do you mean by "attract" a job? have you checked with someone that your cv is of high quality? are you applying for jobs you're qualified for? are you applying for jobs at all? do you prepare for interviews? are you putting in the work? are you making an effort? loa or no loa, no one wants to hire someone without initiative or willingness to work. sitting around daydreaming about a job really won't "attract" one. put in the work and you'll get a job.
Well guess what..I've been hired on sth. I didn't expect: Translation and that's definitively not what I've learned. So, these guys heard about me by some others who know me ... and the rest his history. Of course does a Curriculum Vitae matter, I'm not questioning that..lol.. :-)! On one side, is all the actions that you have to make in order to get a job and on the other side is the attraction that will be triggered when and because you're in motion. But you never know in advance what comes around by what you've just triggered. I can sing a song about it ;-)!
And let's not forget that whatever you want, there's work behind, no matter if it's much&hard or less&smart work.

(I tried to post this earlier, but my computer is about to die, or something was up... maybe a sign I shouldn't.... So it is late.)
It is simple.... You don't believe/feel you can get the job....
If you are talking about ANY job to get some cash flowing, you should start by realizing that they want you more than you want them; especially if you are even slightly competent and they need a lot of "bodies" to do the job.
And, if you are like me, you hate interviewing. I just hate that fake game we play while we tell them about our goals at Fred&Toms Hamburger Factory, especially when their industry is unskilled labor or something a monkey could do.... I mean, that feeling that you have to kiss their butt to get the job. (It gives them a sense of importance for what they are doing with their lives.)
Once you have the self-confidence to ignore what the interviewers reeeeeally think, and you know you can and will be doing it.... You will, especially if you want to do it.
If you are applying to be a paralegal, for example, and you have not been skilled in it... and you WANT to be THAT... then go the education route first. (But don't let me limit you!)
