Everything we experience is stored in our memories to some degree of consciousness. For some, awareness of them is easy because we have good memories, others less so, but for everyone, they are stored deep in the subconscious. This is fine so long as the memories are good and positive ones, but many of them can be negative, and evoke powerful emotions and thoughts if awakened. These have creative LOA power all the same, and we would be better off without them.
In order to do that, try this visualisation exercise. If you have a certain lingering memory, feeling or incident (argument, mistake, something you feel guilty about) picture it in a bubble of white healing light. This is the purifying force of the Universe. Then picture it floating away into a clear blue sky, to be transmuted by the Higher Power. Affirm that you let it go and set it free, and that you now give it to the Universe to be healed and turned into positive energy in the present.
If you are consistent in this practice, the energy which would have been bound up in the memory is healed, transmuted by the Universe, and then brought right into the present moment, to be used for positive living.
Thanks for this x
In my experience, a much more effective and faster way is to see the picture of the memory (We see everything in our minds as a picture), attach a grounding cord to the picture, attach the other end of the cord to the center of the earth, and set the grounding cord on release, letting go of the negative charge/emotion off the picture. The picture of the memory is still the same, but you will no longer be triggered by a current incident that would have reminded you of that picture. This takes about 20 seconds.
Negative things happen to us for a reason. Usually it's to teach us a lesson or many times the negative becomes positive after we realize what it really meant. The negative will remain in your memory until you release your ego and actually learn from it.
Say you get fired from your job today and you feel terrible. You may blame it on a specific person that got a promotion over you. This could be the worse thing that ever happened to you until the day you find that job of your dreams, your true passion. If you look back, you may find that getting fired set you on the right path. A path you never would have found if you would have stayed at the old job.
Everything in our lives has both positive and negative energy, the key is to be able to see the positive side of every thing.
