O.k., so Ive been having trouble getting into the "FEELING" place of particular desires...only because Ive been feeling so down about them and desperate to have them in my life. Im specifically talking about desiring a romantic relationship. I want it so much that I feel down because I dont have it right now, and when I see couples in public, it magnifies my pain, and tells me even more how single I really am...lol!
What about...lets say we are watching a funny movie. As we watch a funny movie, we are happy and laughing, correct? We are, at that moment, vibrating high and feeling really good!
Well, so, if we are able to feel really good by watching a funny movie, or anything that makes us genuinely happy in the moment, why can't we use THAT feeling at that very moment and quickly start thinking and visualizing our desire(s) at the same moment?
SO... what about this trick...as we watch the funny movie, while we are happy and laughing, we start visualizing (at the same time we are happy and laughing from the movie) our desires such as a romantic relationship or money etc...? Do you really think this trick would work or be just as effective as trying to feel the desire itself in a happy state directly?
I believe so. I cannot see the difference otherwise. I dont think the universe cares where the good happy feelings are coming from so as long as we are FEELING good.
I would like feedback on this. Tell me what you all think. I think its a great alternative for the people who are having trouble feeling happy about a particular desire.
I had never really thought of it like this, but in essence, “ fake it till you make it, “ is just a form of training. Many books make out that you have to be feeling everything crazily in order to make things manifest, but I think this is trying too hard. I for one, don’t have a particularly broad emotional range, so being crazily happy, or falling crazily in love for instance, is a bit alien for me. It can also be hard to force yourself to feel a certain way just because a book says that you should. Better to ease yourself into alignment by doing something nice (like watching something funny).
I think this is what they call momentum. So when you are already in a good vibration it is easier to think good thoughts.
The opposite is true as well. So when you are feeling angry or upset or any negative emotions it is best to stay away from creating anything new or thinking about your desire or visualizing.
