As long as we are ignorant of our true identity, as long as we have not found our inner existence, our lives are predestined. Only by finding the authentic being, the true Self within, which is infinite existence, konwledge and joy, can we unravel the mystery of destiny. We cannot barrow the answer. No philosophy can resolve this ancient riddle of human existence. The essential question, the one that much be personally answered, remains: Who am I?
The self you think yourself to be, the with whom you have been identified, is limited. It is a pseuo-self, a limited self that is governed by the past. It is the ego, the obstacle between you and the realization of a more ultimate freedom. As long as you are in the grip of ego;s narrow illusions, you cannot be free. You are a prisoner of the past and the destiny that proceeds from it.
It is only by mastering your own mind that you escape the inevitalbe wheel of destiny and the confines of individuality.
All Blessings for your own personal journey to the Self within!
This is what I was trying to move towards with my discussion, but for some reason people think it cannot be done. I am a great fan of eastern philosophy and beliefs and I think that they are just as valid as western beliefs. I believe that there is a me that is beyond my limiting beliefs (ego) and I am determined to find it. Most people feel like there is a missing link when it comes to manifestation - I think this is it!
