My mom forced me to take classical piano as a child and perform in operettas. Today, I am so very glad she did! It has given me a GREAT love for classical music and wonderful Operas.

im now to classical music. a friend gave me a bunch of tapes for christmas. and ive been hooked since then. now 20 days. and i still love it.

its too much for a teenager. but well i like it better than rock and roll

This seems to be the perfect group for me.
I would like to say hello to all the members of this group.
Especially as composer and conductor who spent all his life studying and working with classical music it feels good to see that names like Beethoven ,Mozart ,Strauss to name a few are still known and their everlasting masterpieces are appreciated.
Next year we celebrate 200th Anniversary of Joseph Haydn, so watch out for concerts in your area dedicated to this outstanding composer.

ohhh my gosh... I am so happy that somebody created this group..Beethoven is absolutely number one for me...although Chopin ...hmmm.. and Debussy...classical music is the most beautiful music in the world... and it lasts through centuries.. I dont think that anyone will be admiring 50 cent' in 200 years or so.....

I'm most into rennaisance and baroque music but I also have some modern favourites.
