not songs so much for improved cognition, but frequencies

I always loved the rain on a rooftop, not so much the lightening, but definitely rain and rolling thunder. Sometimes the pings and pangs from little or huge droplets would evoke the most comfortable feelings offering safety and solace at the same time. As a little girl, I tried to harness eternally what that feeling felt like by catching raindrops in glass bottles or having them fall into a tin pie plate just to hear the 'ping and pang' it made when hitting a solid object. What is so neat now is after having completed my requirements for a masters in Transpersonal Psychology, was I courageous enough to explore meditation, the right way--mine. Not saying anyone else practice or modality used to reach nirvana is wrong, but my way, finally works for me. I use the beach of hot white sands and cool blue-green teal waters of the ocean, either coast, and allow myself to project into those cool waters with both feet, instead of leaving one on shore for protective measures.

I don't need the protective measures when I go back into the feeling that falling water droplets evoke for me . . . I picture the cool droplets of salty water splashing on my face and concentrating on the delicate sounds that are emitted from a liquid touching a solid. It is amazing . . .
