Abraham: Theyre not our shoes. Theyre not even our feet! (lotsa laughter).
Guest: (laughing) My sister-in-law wanted me to ask that question.
Abraham: Esther takes her shoes off every chance she gets.
It is…. mmm…. it is this veeery.. metaphysical… reason. (more big audience laughter) There is this special energy grid…. that moves through… this .. riser. And with just the right… amount… of pantyhose… (wild laughter)…. an energy is conducted… which causes connection… to infinite intelligence.
Q: I was going to ask about this whole idea of enlightenment, but I don’t know if I’m really that interested. I’m more interested in…. (Pause — laughter.) I’m having so much fun, more and more fun all the time, I could care less about enlightenment now, so…. (Further laughter.)
Abe: Well, that is the most enlightened remark we have ever heard. That’s where it’s at. We’re not kidding you about that.
Enlightenment means, literally, ‘aligning to the energy of my Source.’ And genius is only about focusing — Law of Attraction takes care of everything else. Physical humans often want to make enlightenment about finding some process and moving through the process that has been pre-described, but true enlightenment is moving to the rhythm of the internal inspiration that is coming in response to the individual desire.
Ooh, that was so good — did you hear that?
Enlightenment is ‘allowing my connection to the Source that is me for the fulfillment of the things that I have individually defined here in my time/space reality.’ That’s as good as it gets, you see.
Q: I want to ask about the process of creation and the subconscious mind.
Abe: Don’t worry about the subconscious mind. If it’s subconscious, you’re not feeling emotion; if you’re not feeling emotion, it’s not activated enough to matter a whit.
Q: Okay, the….
Abe: The subconscious mind does not matter. It’s the conscious thoughts that activate your vibration.
People will say to us, “I have just been in the worst mood for so long, and I’m worried about my subconscious thoughts.” And we say that mood that you’re feeling isn’t coming in response to your subconscious thoughts, it’s coming in response to your conscious thoughts. Tend to your conscious thoughts.
Q: My question is….
Abe: Are we shouting? Yes, we’re shouting. (Laughter.) Tend to your conscious thoughts, the ones that give you emotion. In other words, that’s like saying, “Oh, man, is this stove hot. It is so very painful. I hope I’m not thinking any subconscious thoughts that would be detrimental.” (Laughter.) And we say, we wouldn’t worry too much about the subconscious thoughts. There’s smoke in the air. (Laughter.)
If we were standing in your physical shoes, we would do something that we can do something about. We would deal with what is active, we would deal with what is in the moment. We would respond to the guidance that you’re getting right now.
I'm not sure I can wrap my brain around this...I awoke this morning with a weird feeling. I couldn't define it...I had no actual conscious thoughts connected with it.
I assumed it was a sort of intuition and didn't label it good or bad.
So I am having trouble maybe getting it ...I kind of think you CAN be influenced by nudges at least by your subconscious....or am I labeling it incorrectly...are intuition and my subconscious the same thing?
Well, waking with a weird feeling...I doubt that that's coming from your subconscious mind..As i've always learned it, it's the conscious mind that you use to think and those thoughts bring forth emotion. If it's subconscious you can sort of say it's lingering in your mind, but as long as it's not activated (as long as you're not thinking about it) you don't have to think about it.
And when you awake with a weird feeling, not knowing where it's coming from..Instead of digging deeper and trying to find that out, how about just focusing upon thoughts that you know make you feel good and make the weird feeling disappear?
