It is important that you avoid the negative influence of those physical beings who surround you in your work place, in your home and in your social gatherings.If you have decided what you want you enter a segment involving another, and you enter into conversation with one who is speaking negatively regarding any of the subjects of your desire, you will have strong negative emotion, for your Inner Being will be signaling to let you know that in that moment the words that you are receiving are not in harmony with that which you have previously intended. However, as you have entered this segment, if you have not taken the time to identify your dominant intentions, then you will be more easily influenced by this negative conversation, for your "warning bells" will not be so specific, and you will not be as sensitive to them.At the moment that you "hear" or feel the ringing of the "warning bells", it is most important that you immediately turn your conscious thought toward that which you want - for in every moment that you are experiencing the ringing of the bell, you are creating in the direction of that which you do not want.And so, the reason that it is important to understand the power of influence of others is because as they are stimulating your thoughts in the direction of that which you do not want - they are encouraging you in the creation of that which you do not want.Of course, the easiest way to avoid the negative influence of others is to remove yourself, physically, from that influence when you feel the negative "warning bells" ringing, but it is not always comfortable to do that. Therefore, it is important that you remove yourself mentally and emotionally and that you give your conscious thought to that which you want and remove your attention from the conversation regarding what you do not want.Others may think that you are rude or uncaring when they sense your withdrawal - but they do not understand....(there's more, of course, there is always more, but I think that is a good stopping point for this quote regarding this particular context in which I "applied the one answer to everything" ....chuckle)From A New Beginning Ipage 32-339th Printing
We would like to help you to understand that neither the good feeling you find when you observe wanted behavior, nor the bad feeling you find when you observe unwanted behavior, is actually the reason that you feel good or bad. The way you feel is only ever about your alignment, or misalignment, with the Source within you. It is only your relationship with the Source within you (with your own Inner Being) that is the reason for the emotions that you feel.
While it is nice to find things in your physical environment that enhance your good-feeling alignment with your Inner Being, your understanding of why you feel good will make it possible for you to feel good regardless of the behavior of others.
Understanding that the way you feel is really about your Vibrational relationship with your Inner Being—with the Source within you, with the expanded version of you who resides inside your Vortex—gives you complete empowerment and absolute freedom.

Be easy about this. Be playful about it. Don't work so hard at it. Let your dominant intent to be to feel good, and if you don't feel good, then let your dominant intent be to feel relief. Feel your way through it. If you think your way through it, you can get off on all kinds of tangents. If you feel your way through it, you can come quickly to your Core Energy, and when you do that only good can then flow to you.

And what is it that you are adjusting your vibration to? You're adjusting your vibraton NOT from "not having this thing you want" to "having this thing you want"; you're adjusting this vibration from "being unhappy about not having it" to "being happy even though you don't have it" because when you are happy even though you don't have it; then you'll have it. But as long as you're unhappy about not having it, that "unhappy" is a vibration that holds it away. When you're "unhappy about not having it", you are practicing the art of resistance and when you're resisting you can't have it. Well, how do I get happy about not having something that I really want? Well, it takes practice. It takes understanding you are eternal. It takes understanding that you're on your way. It takes beginning to enjoy the process.

What Are Some Words to Enhance Being Well-Being?Jerry: Could you give us some words that we could use to help attract a variety of things, like perfect health…?
Abraham: I want perfect health! I like feeling good. I enjoy my good-feeling body. I have many positive memories of feeling good in my body. I see many people who are clearly in a state of goodhealth, and it is easy to see how much they are enjoying their good-feeling bodies. When I think thoughts like these, I feel good. These thoughts are in harmony with a healthy body.
Jerry: What about perfect financial prosperity?
Abraham: I want financial prosperity! There are so many wonderful things that are readily available in this wonderful world, and financial prosperity opens the door to so many of those things. Since the Law of Attraction responds to my thoughts, I have decided to focus predominantly upon the abundance that is possible, understanding that it is only a matter of time before my thoughts of prosperity will be matched by the flow of financial prosperity. Since the Law of Attraction will bring me the object of my attention, I choose abundance.
Jerry: And great relationships?Abraham: I want great relationships. I so enjoy nice, clever, funny, energetic, stimulating people, and I love knowing that this planet is abundant with them. I have met so many interesting people, and I love the discovery of fascinating characteristics in the people I meet. It seems that the more I enjoy people, the more people whom I enjoy come into my experience. I love this time of spectacular co-creation.Jerry: What about positive Non-Physical experiences?Abraham: I want to attract those who are in harmony with me, physical and Non-Physical. I’m fascinated by the Law of Attraction and am comforted by the knowledge that when I’m feeling good, I can only attract that which feels good. I love understanding that the basis of that which is Non-Physical is pure, positive Energy. I enjoy utilizing my Emotional Guidance System so that I can rendezvous with that Source.
Jerry: And continual, joyous growth?
Abraham: I am a growth-seeking Being, and it is exhilarating to remember that expansion is not only natural but inevitable. I love knowing that joy is simply a choice. So, since my expansion is inevitable, I choose to have all of it—in joy.
Jerry: And that will attract these things?
Abraham: Your words will not bring you immediate manifestations of what you are asking for, but the more often you say them, and the better you feel while you are saying them, the purer or less contradicted your vibration will be. And soon your world will be filled with these things you have spoken about.…Words alone do not attract, but when you feel emotion when you speak, that means your vibration is strong—and the Law of Attraction must answer those vibrations.
