I would add, as a beginning internet marketer I'm not sure that *anything* is going to make you money fast. Internet marketing is not an overnight game. It will take you some time no matter what IM strategy you choose to follow.

someone just messaged the group asking about Niche Blogger and there is no way I can figure out to respond directly to that message... so here's my response to Kirsty:

Niche Blogger is NOT a scam... and it's also NOT a way to 'make money fast'
creating niche blogs that earn money can be quite fun and it takes consistent action and about 3 months for money to start flowing and incrementally build.

So if you have a 'need to earn at least £20 from blogging to pay for my server' after one month I would advise you against going with it is possible... yet unlikely.

Has anyone else done Ed Dale's free Internet Marketing Course - in previous year's it was called The Thirty Day Challenge but this year the format is changing, now "The Challenge".

I run a team from a Google Group with like-minded people. I would recommend anyone who takes up the challenge to join a team as it helps to keep you motivated.

The 2010 training begins on 1st July. There is a lot of really useful and free information - well worth it

I think the 2009 training won't be available for much longer but most of the videos are on YouTube.

This year's training will be 7 modules each with 7 day's training of about half an hour a day. At the end of each module there is a 7 day break so that people have time to catch up if they get behind. It should last for about 3 months and is suitable for total beginners plus it's lots of help to the more experienced too.

JanMarie...Welcome to our group! There are a variety of ways to make money as a blogger. A variety of approaches depending on your interests and desires. For instance, Amy Bass' course The Niche Blogger shows you how she has earned thousands monthly by setting up several blogs targeting very small niche's (It's a brilliant program and well worth the price) or you can focus on one blog and using it to promote either a product or service you've developed or one that you affiliate yourself with that 'fits' the general tone of your blog.

When I have a bit of time I'll write up some of my thoughts and ideas about earning through blogging. And hope others will add their input!

I have no issue with people posting a message that's brief and personal... and even includes a link to your offer... but PLEASE DO NOT just paste an AD like this and send it out as a message to the whole group - that is very unwelcome!
