I stumbled upon another visualization tool today. The trick is to clean up! Yes, clean up any unwanted junk in your house and make room for NEW stuff! A lot of my furniture I had since my poor college days. I bought some slip covers and put them on two sofas and a chair and restuff the cushions and now they look like new. I will buy some new sofas soon.

I got rid of a junky old entertainment stand and bought one that looks like furniture. It wasn't too expensive, but it looks very nice. I did all this a little at a time, so I do not overspend and make more financial trouble. I only bought with cash, no credit.

So tonight, I threw out a lot of old stuff that I did not need anymore. I have piles of stuff to give away and the rest went into the garbage. I feel better to look around and see less junk. I actually feel wealthier with less junk lying around the house. This is starting to look like a rich man's pad!

Oh yes. There is something tremendous about de-cluttering especially getting rid of broken things. It works like magic!

Cleaning up your living space works too. Whenever I feel like I need to jump start anything, I clean. It works every time :)

Peace and love

Thank you everyone for your replies. Katherine, that is great that you manifested some new stuff after you got rid of your old stuff.

V, I hear you about getting rid of negative vibes. Some of my old stuff remind me of the lean years, something I would like to forget. I think if we keep remembering our lean years and thinking about them, we will stay in that financial state. I got rid of a very small desk, that I had in my college days. It was very damaged and was given to me. Even though it wasn't a computer desk, I put my computer monitor on it and I had no room to place a book or something I was working on. I got rid of that desk, even though it served me well. I bought a bigger desk at $800.00. I really wanted this new desk for a long time and now I have it! :) I'm sitting at it now. The old desk remind me of my poorer days. Now I only have a few things from those days. I might get rid of those too. :)

Lisa, it did work like magic for me. Getting rid of broken things helped to clean out the negative vibes as well. And getting rid of worn things is good too (like the desk I wrote about). Looking at broken and old things can dampen the atmosphere as well. Slowly, I'm getting this place to look like the way I want it! Now if I can only get my roommates to stop accepting other people's junk, I'll be happy. :)

And make sure your wallet/purse is always tidy. Keep your notes in the right compartment all neat & tidy. Dont just throw your coins around the house. They need a home too!

Few weeks back I read this article that decluttering your life makes room for the new. Giving you space to expand yourself into new things. For the old things took away from me the abillity to have space for new. Now, slowly oh so slowly I am getting rid of what I dont need or want in my life anymore. Somehow , i feel that this will prepare me for greater things.
Declutter your mind as well. Thoughts and feelings that you feel have no place in your life. Get rid of it. Today, one of my favourite pants had a huge whole in it. I so wanted to just repair it, but i found myself yelling at my sister(nice words) "I am rich beyond measure, i will just get a new one"
I examined the feeling towards said object and changed it with the thought that i can have more.
Love your new life.
Clear it out in your mind. If you think that you cannot do it rl. Dont let the actions go through then.
*pointing at your head* Pre clean there. Try the emotion of decluttered space out in your mind. Then move forward from there.
Love
Chris.

Yes getting rid of negative thoughts does help. I am spending less time with negative people. I don't want their attitudes to influence me. A couple of people in my life are angry with me, but I told them I need to de-tox. They still don't understand, so I told some of them, I am their friend, but right now, I need some time alone.

I love that getting rid of stuff helps to make room for the new. It's like the universe is saying, "hey! Their apartment is empty. Let's bring them some new stuff!" A girl was telling me, that she got a casual job and no longer needed conservative suits. She gave the clothes away to a foundation in New York city that gives the clothing to people who are looking for a job or need work clothes. They only accept office wear. So her closet was pretty empty and she keep wearing the same things. Different people in her life felt moved to give her some article of clothes. Most of these people did not know exactly what size she wore, so they brought her the clothing and mostly everything was in her size. Now that's amazing. These are clothes that fits her taste too.

I have decluttered my house for years at least twice a year and I also like to redecorate - not necessarily spending a lot of money but moving furniture, pictures, and knic nacs around and painting the rooms. I have always found when I do this that positive things come into my life - also by getting rid of things that you don't need and to be able to give it to people that do need it is great for everyone!

Yup, decluttering your house is like decluttering your life. I get tired of the same old same old too when it comes to artwork and table ornaments. I give stuff away to people who come over and tell me something is cool. My office mate gave me something that I was admiring. It is a dish to put rings and change in, but it looks really cool. I don't think I'll ever give that away.

Yes...decluttering is GOOD for the SOUL! Just spent two weeks doing just that and I feel so much lighter, and my home is breathing and we're all smiling, even the dogs. Very Feng Shui. LOL The energy is amazing after a major declutter.

Wow the dogs are smiling? Now you know you did your job! I don't understand Feng Shui at all. I had a friend come over, who is moonlighting as a Feng Shui consultant. My apartment has such a strange layout, that she could not do anything with apartment as a whole. So she put small items in each corner of the room. She put a money tree in one corner of the living room. In one corner of my bedroom, she placed my Czech coins in a dish.

She put some items in my love corner. A photo of me and the person I'd like to spend the rest of my life with. There were other items, she placed around the house for my business and peice of mind and my health. We'll see if this work.
