Hi Inga
Im a Scientologist.
Here is a video and a web link to help.
I will post more in response to your question a little later, I just have to find some resources. I actually have practically all the books and recorded lectures by L. Ron Hubbard ( The founder of Scientology ).... and that is TONS and TONS to look through!! He is the most translated author in the world you know!!
If after watching the video and checking out the websites, you still feel your question is unanswered, let me know. I can find some answers. I am doing a chronological study of all L. Ron Hubbards discoveries and research. Plus I am quite good with the LOA...
Are you talking about the difference between Dianetics and Scientology? I'm not a member of the Scientology community but I think Dianetics is sort of like the belief book that holds the basics of Scientology, then again I could be wrong. Or are you looking for more of an answer between the difference of LOA and Scientology?

Hello All, and TY for all the replies. But yes, I was wondering what the 'differences' are between the 3. Its seems they are all relative in the same respect, seemingly 'flipping' the switch in a different direction and having a different approach or outlook on the problem or situation at hand.
There are huge differences between Dianetics and LOA. Dianetics is the book that L.Ron Hubbard wrote, to draw people to his church. It has similar ideas to loa, in that living a positive life, and looking at life with a different perspective, is a good way to live to make you happier. But, L. Ron Hubbard was a science fiction writer, and what is taught when you gain higher status in the church, by paying more money, is pure science fiction. It's aliens, and spaceships, literally. Not that there aren't such things as aliens and spaceships, who knows for sure....but it's the dark side of scientology, that is disconcerting. It's the things that aren''t in their propoganda that people need to be aware of when making decisions about their lives.

To clear things up, Dianetics isn't a "belief" ...its something you do with another person. It gets rid of the reactive mind. I will get a video showing a Dianetics session so you can see it. I just have to find it.
As far as this science fiction stuff, L Ron Hubbard was a successful fiction writer. But he used the money from that to fund his research...which is all fully recorded in his massive Research and Discovery volumes explaining his tests and such...
Check out this short biography:
And the stuff about aliens and such...thats all black PR and propaganda put out by establishments who want to suppress and trick others.
Same thing as with the pharmaceutical industry and FDA suppressing Natural Medicine .
There is a huge difference between LOA and Scientology. Dianetics is the book that Scientology follows. LOA is not a religion, but more of a law, like gravity. Scientology is more of a religious belief, like Christianity or Hinduism. You don't have to believe a certain way to have LOA work (though it's best to be positive so LOA can work in a positive way). But you usually have to believe in Scientology to be a scientologist. Plus, while all LOA and Scientology have a couple of things in common, there are some huge differences. Scientology is suppose to be about a galactic dictator who sent his people to earth 75 million years ago, stacked them around volcaones, and killed them with hydrogen bombs. Supposedly, these spirits still exist and some believe they either surround our beings or we are made of the ghosts of these people which is suppose to be a negative thing. However, some people believe more in the spirituality of Scientology rather than the legend behind it with Xenu and the Thetans.
