Has anyone manifested something that they can put down to LOA for definite fact?
Im starting to believe that maybe this stuff doesnt work after all, Ive been trying to use LOA for physical healing for quite some time now and it hasn't worked.
Anyone have any advice? Or does anyone here agree with me.
There is manifesting going on All around.I see! As a massage therapist and reiki master I see my clients healing on all levels..I could tell you many stories of wonderful trasnformation.but one must remember that Healing works on All levels of Body Mind and Spirit..plus cosmos. From what I have experienced.. sometimes the Spiritual level if you will, has to transform first..Loving Ones self from the core of All that Is..Forgiving Onesself..of you think you need to forgive..and just knowing that you are Divine..to really go to these places with not doubt..Just a wonderful Knowingnes of Love for Ourselves. For We must Love Ourselves first and fore most..But it is a moment by momment happening.. although sometimes it takes some time.. so we must be Loving, Gental and Kind to Ourselves. So as We to this for Ourselves We do it for Others.. It is What we do.I don't know why sometimes things happen quick and other times it seems as a neverending process. but as I see it to have the Power of Intention to manifest..One cannot solve a problem on the same level it was created..

I can see where you are coming from. I'm pretty realistic when it comes to stuff that is usually seen as "New Age", but I decided to give the Laws of Attraction a try b/c if it works then great, if not then I could tell people not to bother wasting their time or money. Now, I grew up in a low income family in a small Southern town. I went to college where I made at most $5.50 an hour for 20 hours a week and I do not own credit cards nor do I depend on my family to send me money. Within one year of using the Laws of Attraction, this is a few things I have manifested:
1. A hot relationship, which turned into a good friendship, with an amazing traveler and producer who owns his own band and business. I had been single for over 7 years before this happened, and now whenever I go up to Canada I have guys that compliment me on how beautiful I am even though I live in the U.S. This was amazing for me b/c I'm considered an "ugly duckling" in the U.S. (brunette, ivory skin, native-american features, slightly chubby size 12, etc.)
2. I was accepted into two prestigeous graduates school programs. However, I wanted to work full-time as well, so I then manifested a Communications graudate school program at a great school that I do over the internet. I have made an A and an A- in my classes so far and I start another semester tomorrow.
3. I've manifested traveling to St. Louis, Seattle, Montreal, Cornwall, and Toronto (3 times) all within the span of one year.
4. I've manifested meeting one of my favorite actors at a party
5. I've manifested a job in a small town that fits my major after being unemployed for 9 months. It pays $10,000 less than what I should be making, but it also means that I'm mainfesting money in order to move to a great city with even more opportunities.
6. I manifested getting a wedding proposal at the Toronto party from a cute guy. It was a joke since he wants to work in Broadway and I want to work in Vancouver, but still it was funny to think about mainfesting my husband at the party and then receiving a wedding proposal (even a joke one) a few hours later! LOL! I had to turn down the offer a second time b/c my friend was getting ready to leave and wanted us to split cab fare.
7. I manifested good weather when I wanted to fly out somewhere and there was an ice storm the day before. I also manifested staying an extra day in Toronto due to a flight delay but being able to make it home without the weather interfering before Christmas.
8. I wanted to manifest my own room, but it's nearly impossible b/c my former college I graduated from was into penny-pinching. However, I wanted my own room by myself in a double-person room. At first I was sleeping on the floor in my friend's single room, but then I got a room in the dorm and that roommate moved out. Then when they gave me a new roommate, she decided to quit college soon after and I had my own double-room!
My advice for you is to find out what works and keep the faith. For example, I am more of a believer of "inspired action". I am not the kind who believes in waiting around or it drives me crazy. Also, when things go wrong I believe that you can be negative at first--since you need to relieve those negative thoughts in order to make room for positive ones--but after a while of releasing angst that's when you should say, "Okay, it looks bad now, but it will get better. I just need to continue to keep the faith and not get discouraged."
I hope this helps. I mean, I can see why you would be skeptical, and if you believe later on it doesn't work then there's probably something else you can try, but all I know is that before I found a book on Cosmic Ordering and The Secret I was living a very depressing life. The mainfestations are wonderful, but the feeling of optimism even for someone that comes from a low income family in the South is amazing! I wish you the best of luck!
Was there a specific routine to keep these thoughts and feelings constant to help you manifest them? What specific actions did you take to help bring them into your experience?
Well, I'm a big believer in "inspired action". For example, instead of sitting around and thinking positive for the Universe to give me my job, I actively took part in searching for the job and ended up being led by the Universe to the job. When I got the urge to call that I could not ignore, I would call and the Universe would show them that it meant I was determined to get the job.
Did bad things happen, of course! However, what I would do is this:
1) Go ahead and feel the negative feelings. I would rant in my journal until I was exhausted!
2) After I'm done ranting and can think logically, I said to myself, "Things will work out. I can either focus on the bad or I can remain positive and know that something good is in store for me."
3) Continue to think positively and take as many of the cues as I could from the Universe.
4) I did not obsess over it, but I did think about it and did what needed to be done while remaining positive and have fun.
It's important that you have fun, know what you want, and remain positive. If you're positive, then you have more drive to do what needs to be done in order to manifest your goals. I did not obsess over the thoughts, but I did try to remain as positive as possible. However, you should also allow yourself to feel the negative emotions if something bad happens b/c it is better to feel them and release them afterwards than it is to repress them and have them stuck in your mind. That's what held up some of these manifestations, but once I felt the feelings and let them go, I manifested some awesome things with positive vibes :).
Let me know if you have more questions or want more advice.

LOA is simple, yet very, very hard to apply. It requires a level of self-knowledge that is very high AND its maintenance. It's really tough. But it does work, perfectly I might say. During my "test year", in which I more or less laid down the basic stuff that I needed, I manifested: exactly the work that I wanted, lots and lots of cash, exactly the friends that I wanted, improvement in the relationships that I needed, the man of my dreams loving me, a lot of stuff in between that are hard to describe and a lot more. But, most of all, I achieved inner balance, strength and harmony.
This has been, my apprentice year, so to speak. I devoted myself entirely and diligently applied the LOA in every aspect of my life, starting from my inner "make-up". I cleaned, decluttered, allowed, fixed, turned around, threw away, refined all possible mental and psychic/spiritual things that needed care. The rest flowed from there. I am now working on moving up one level (more income increase and multiple sources, real estate, investments, even deeper relationships in an effortless manner eg.) and branching out to even more fields (I will call this my "master year" lol!).
So, in a nutshell, yes, it works...And a thumb rule: absolute and uncluttered (ie. not full with debris, such as doubts, fears etc) faith. This is how you get it to work. And this applies to all cases (from health to money over to relationships and everything in between, however big or small).
