Powerful Intentions: Law of Attraction Community

Bad vibes have been removed.
I'd like to get some help with an issue I have. I'm progressing.
I'm looking for something to confirm the Law of Attraction.

PS: I failed at manifesting a chocolate bar. I hope I'll manage to do it right, one day. It doesn't feel like I can actually manifest that so I think I lack some belief when it comes to manifesting a chocolate bar while I do believe I can manifest anything else. That's not right. Right?

It looks as though you need to try other things. I know when I tried it at first I was doing what people said to do: think positive, don't rant or think negatively, just believe and act like it is already happening. I was not the kind of person though who could just NOT think negatively when bad things happen and I also was skeptical about people "receiving checks in the mail" without a purpose. I met a small group of people though who were more concentrated on using "inspired action" where you manifest things by taking action. Also, we had a thread on another forum where people can write about all of their negative experiences to let it go. Live it, grieve, and then when you feel ready to let go then let go.

I thought it was fake at first, but all I know is that my form of LOA works for me. Maybe not exactly, but very close. I do not blame you at all for ranting. I've done my fair share of ranting as well. I hope you do find another way to manifest things soon or figure out what is blocking your progress. What are you trying to manifest anyway?

Love, Respect, Success. Those are the main subjects I try to manifest. These three are just a summary of everything I want.
I usually don't think negatively. At least, I think I don't. I'm one of the most optimistic persons in my environment but suddenly all kinds of thoughts jumped up into my mind of what I haven't been able to accomplish. I felt very helpless.
Usually when I take action things seem to fail more often. When I blend-in or do something related to the subject in a subtle way everything seems to work out a lot better.
I noticed that my friends missed me this afternoon because I went back home because I wasn't ice-skating that well. I'm kind of new in their group but I didn't fully realize yet that I'm actually part of the group. So I thought they didn't care anyway because they left of without me.

I don't get what I'm doing wrong.
1. I think of what I want.
2. I visualize what I want.
3. I wait for the 'Universe' to bring to me what I want.

Okay, do you try to focus on a few things at a time or are you just trying to manifest all of these main subjects at once? If you are new to it and try to focus on it all at once then it might go a bit slower since your focus is spread out. About those thoughts that jump into your mind, the same has happened with me, but I usually tell myself, "It just takes some time." Also, in some instances when I try to mainfest things, the situation will get worse before it gets better. For example, when I tried to manifest my own dorm room, I ended up having to sleep on the floor of a less sanitary dormitory and share it with my friend. I took all sorts of action that I was inspired to do such as contact the residential coordinator, move into a dormroom with someone I didn't know, live in a dorm that was farther away from my work, etc. I was a bit disgruntled b/c I went from a good dormitory with a private bathroom to a communal dormitory that was loud and I had to clean the communal area (including bathroom) once a month. However, the Universe shifted things for me: my roommate moved out to be with her other friend, my new roommate dropped out of school, etc. so I got my own room and it was the size of a double!

I'm just saying that sometimes it might seem to be getting worse but it's actually trying to sort itself out to becoming even better. When I was first practicing with Cosmic Ordering, I focused on one thing at a time just to test it out. My first conscious manifestation was to get a guy to ask me out in three weeks. I would focus on it occasionally, then I would let it go into the Universe and do my studies while occasionally thinking about how it's going so far. Within the end of three weeks, I ended up manifesting someone telling me that they really liked me and wanted to go out. I wasn't gaga over them, but it was a good start to practice.

How long have you been practicing LOA for? For now, I would try to focus on one thing at a time until that is accomplished. Think about one thing to focus on. It could be something big or it could be something small, though if you are just starting out then small might be better just to help build some confidence in the system. Also, when you're waiting, are you anticipating it to come in or are you sort of moving on with your business knowing that it is here or arriving? With me, I will sometimes anticipate and that slows down the manifestation, but when I decide to move on with my life and know it will come in its own time then it usually comes within a couple of weeks! It's pretty cool.

I hope this helps. If you give me more details on one exact thing you want to manifest (ex. job, car, date, fun night out with mates, etc.) then I might be able to give you more ideas, or others might be able to write their comments. I think some might be hesitant b/c they're not sure of your situation or a few of them might not like the "vibes" of the post. However, I've had some frustrating times as well and it does help to rant about it in a journal or in an advice thread b/c it clears it out of your system and allows you let it go.

I've been practising the Law of Attraction for a long time. Approximately one year but not intensively. It did work for me with certain desires but there were also a lot of moments that it didn't 'work'. Obviously it did but I did something wrong which made it impossible for the Universe to get me what I wanted.

I've been trying to attract multiple things, sometimes all at the same time but usually I focused on one thing at a time.

One of the things I desire is the love from a specific person. We're friends right now but I'd like to 'attract' her even more. I've read about the 'free will' stuff but I was already aware of that. The Law of Attraction works for every single person on Earth. This means it'll work for her as well and she might be manifesting other things (unconsciously). By the way, I'm not trying to get her to kiss me but I'd really like to be a very good friend. I like her a lot but I don't know if I actually want to for example kiss her. I noticed that we're kind of behaving in the same way. It's annoying because it looks like I'm mirroring her while I'm not. It sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable because as soon as I think about a certain things, she say it! It's weird. She happens to have the exact same music on her mobile phone. I've got a lot of those tracks stored on my harddrive.
She has a twin sister. She's part of the group as well but I'm kind of new in this group and I often forget that they DO like me.

I'd like to become one of her best friends. I'd like to get a lot of SMS-messages (mobile text messages) from her as well. This would confirm for me that the Law actually works well because I don't get a lot of text messages on my mobile phone. I got only 52 messages in my inbox (in four weeks which isn't the average most people of my age get).

I'll edit my first post so the bad vibes won't be spread around anymore.

Do you also feel the joy of what you want?

This is the crucial part. Feeling that it happens, or how it would feel when you have it. Not feeling bad, but feeling the joy. This is what allows the stuff in.

Well, try to manifest something you are not attached to like a parking space or something small. Approach manifesting with an open mind. Don't "test" it. Just explore and try it out. See what you learn from the experience and use that to teach you how to be a better manifester. The only way to realize your intention is to manifest properly. Play with your imagination.

You might try manifesting something that you have absolutely no investment in, something that won't make a bit of difference whether or not you have it. One thing I have to keep reminding myself is that my "wishing it" doesn't make it happen nearly as well as accepting the present state (I don't have it, and that's O.K.) and visualizing what I want to have happen. (Visualize what the thing or event looks like, and then detach from it.)

Here's my example that I learned from listening to a webcast from Anisa Aven's web site. A woman described how she visualized butterflies & she saw tons of them in the following days: in the form of a tattoo, pictures, etc. I decided to visualize roosters. I actually have sort of an aversion to roosters, because I had to care for chickens when I was a child, and I didn't like it, so I could totally detach from roosters. Following the example of the woman who told the butterfly story, each day after I meditated, I visualized a rooster. After 3 or 4 days, I started seeing picture of roosters and statues of roosters in the most unlikely places. I finally quit the visualizing after about a week, because I was sick of seeing them.

However, a couple of weeks after I said enough already, I saw one more. I was wanting to remodel my kitchen, but I was sure I didn't have enough money, time, patience, etc. I went to a remodeling show just to check it out, and one of the companies showed slides of some of their projects. The last slide picture was a dining room with a fireplace, and sitting inside the fireplace was -- you guessed it, a huge ceramic rooster. Right then, I knew I could have a new kitchen, and I started crying. I don't have it yet, but I'm gathering materials and researching and having a wonderful time visualizing and being grateful.
