Dave's Thoughts on "Cash for Clunkers"
With all the buzz about Cash for Clunkers, it’s easy to think that it was a great way for people to get a better set of wheels. But was it really? No way! Cash for Clunkers was simply a way for broke people to buy cars that they really couldn't afford. It was a bad idea on multiple levels. But before digging into that, let’s take a little history lesson.
About a decade ago, a fair housing program was started, called a sub-prime… Continue

Get Your Rosemary to-day:
Three rosemary plants potted inside your kitchen, preferably on a window ledge, are believed to bring financial freedom to single women looking for same. Speaking of rosemary, when this herb is burned it emits one of Mother Nature's most powerful cleaning and purifying vibrations. It can purge a place of negativity faster than you can say, well, rosemary. When put beneath a pillow it's said to ensure a good night's sleep while also banishing… Continue

When change is in the air, remember the butterfly.
Change, shifting our energy and MO, opening to the new, it can all feel a bit like a birth. And it is. And we can remember that birth does not happen without its pain. First there are contractions, as the new moves and wriggles to get out. It's leaves behind the afterbirth, which must be cleaned and and released. Once on the other side, the newly emerged being, beautiful and vulnerable,… Continue

Thanks, for helping me keep my energy up! :D
For the longest time, I've had two favorite bands: Bow Wow Wow (from England), who peaked in 1982 & didn't make it much longer, & Shonen Knife (from Japan), who only have one member from the original band but are still having fun, out there.
Well, Bow Wow Wow was the brain child of producer Malcolm… Continue

This is meant to be a bit jarring, but in a good way.
If you're feeling stuck where you are in life, and all your LOA practice has yielded no change, then there is likely one reason: You're not willing to pay the price that comes with receiving your desires (if you were willing, you would have received your desires by now).

This is going to be a very Exciting day. We got a little rain last night and it was such a good feeling to hear the raindrops on the roof. It thundered and we had a little bit of lightening. It is now 8:30am, and it's very cool outside as well. Wow, the dry spell is finally broken. I can feel the Good Vibrations in the air. This rain is going to be so good for so many people. It feels like the start of a new beginning. The ground is just soaking up the water. I LOVE IT!!! ; )
I don't… Continue

"You are, Your Attraction" --- Ankur Sancheti
What is Law of Attraction?
Law of Attraction is a Universal law like the law of Gravity that is impersonal that applies to each one of as at any moment of time. Think how beautifully gravity applies to us. Law of attraction says our thoughts are magnets. As magnet attracts metal, we also attract our sub-atomic possibilities with thoughts. Dr. Emoto's water experiment proves it beautifully; he shows how… Continue

I find that the best kind of creative inspired breakthroughs, in any field of endeavor, comes from communing deeply with other life presences, in heartfelt, open-minded, non-dualistic, empathic, loving attunement with them. The more deeply we invest our heart, mind, and senses, in communion with other life presences, experiences, and activities, in the world, the more deeply we can contact and experience the here and now present moment, and, thereby, gain profounder insight into the reality… Continue

Agreement or disagreement is much less important than good communication as a way of enabling people to deeply understand each other, and, thereby, gradually develop the ability to feel inwardly close to each other, as caring good friends. Good communication, as the basis of true friendship, means that one does not keep one’s inner experience to oneself alone, but, instead, actively reaches out to share one’s experience, feelings, thoughts, and needs with another person, as openly, honestly,… Continue

I've been here on Powerful Intentions for a while. I've enjoyed it so much -- I love the people here and have made some incredible friends.
I've been a seeker almost all my life. I think many of us who launch into alternate spiritualities feel like we're different than others (even though we're really not) and don't subscribe to the "party line" when it comes to living life. And it's all designed specifically for that purpose -- to get us to explore! I could write a long, long story… Continue

The life we create is based on lots of things. Two of them are our NARRATIVE (the story we tell ourselves about ourselves) and our ENVIRONMENT.
Each affects the other. Our environment affects how we think about ourselves.
And how we see ourselves influences the kind of environment we permit around us.
Here’s one possibility for a new environment.… Continue

Thanks, for thinking "outside the box" with me! :O)
In college, I had a friend, who shared an amazing story with me. She was the first person in seven generations who "qualified" to join a very popular religion, as her family had been excommunicated for heresy! Not, that she was interested in joining, but how amazing for a family to have carried such a vibration for seven generations! :O
Well, many of us… Continue
