Enthusiasm is such an interesting word and notion. You can have enthusiasm for anything, including things that are positive and things that are negative. I have known people who are enthusiastically negative! They get all fired up and stand tall on their… Continue

"Closure" is something that we all need in our lives. From time to time, we find ourselves in situations that leave us feeling like we are "hanging" in the balance. This is such an unsettling feeling. There are different types of uncomfortable situations… Continue

Why do we yearn to be like others? Why do we criticize ourselves and put ourselves down? Why do we choose to listen to the mean voices from our past and believe them?
It has everything to do with our thoughts!

Oh my!...We are a bunch of "Worry-Warts" (remember that term?) We worry about the weather, what we are going to wear, what we look like, about our jobs, our children, what others think of us, about school, our grand kids, our marriage, our bills, our friends or lack of friends, etc. We worry about everything under the sun; we even… Continue

Are you experiencing all the good you want in your life? While being happy is our birthright, sometimes we tend to focus on the negative in our lives and ignore all the blessings we have been given and by doing so we don’t enjoy life as we could.
Even if we do try to keep from negative thinking and are positive most…

Yeesh. Today I felt disturbingly unfocused and avoidant, and there's still that recalcitrant sadness. I think it's weird that emotions regarding aspects of our lives well up when we're doing NAPs on what seem like completely unrelated subjects. But I suppose it's all intertwined somehow, since, you know, it's all US, after all.
Can't wait until this is over!

This is a follow-up on the last blog I wrote. You can find that blog by clicking on the title below:Are You Tired?
And of course, if you return to my page to find my blogs, you'll be able to check them out there, as well.
In that blog, I noticed posts in which people were weary and found that the LOA just wasn't working for them the way they wanted to.
I suggested that people relax… Continue

Every now and then (actually often) here on PI I come across a post that goes something like this:
I have been practicing the principles of the LOA for about a year and a half, and at first, everything went great. I could think of something, and it would happen, almost every time! But in the last six months, life has taken a downhill turn. Every possible thing has gone wrong. I lost my job. We're in foreclosure and can't keep our home. My dog died. My mother has cancer. Our car is… Continue

I found this quote a couple of years ago and now I keep it tacked on my bulletin board. There was a time I didn’t really understand what Ms. King meant by this quote. I thought, “How can anyone be afraid of winning?” After all, isn’t that the American way? So imagine my surprise when I recently met two colleagues at a local networking event who admitted they were afraid.
You see for about a month I’ve been speaking on topics such as The Four Secrets of Successful People and Managing Your… Continue

Our emotions -- all of them -- are part of our Divine Guidance System. They are not Good or Bad, but they are more or less enjoyable and signal that you are moving closer to or farther away from all you desire.
to see an annotated Range of Emotions list.
Anger, in particular, has a bad rap. It is usually considered entirely undesirable and to be squelched.

Recently I read about three emotional levels. From the theorie of Ron Hubbard (Dianetics: experiences are deleted by repeatingly re-living a certain situation until anger and fear are reduced to laugher of and boredom) I also learned that a persons goes through these levels of emotions.
Anger is the first level, beneath it lies sadness;
Sadness is the second layer underneath is abandonment;
fear of desolation is de last, beneath it… Continue

The Law of Attraction succinctly put is : YOU GET WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT!
Some 20 years ago my father was diagnosed with liver cancer and this is when I began to Learn about the power of the Law of Attraction long before I had ever heard of the term Law Of Attraction!
My father refused to believe that he could not overcome it and so checked himself into a holistic clinic in the countryside some two hours drive from where we lived then.
It was here that my father… Continue

I am Happy Because I Choose to Be
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
It is so easy today to blame things outside ourselves for the misery we perceive in our lives. It is easier to place blame elsewhere than to take responsibility for it, and we as humans seem to be a little like water, in that we seek the path of least resistance; blame the other guy. The rub here lies in…
