Costa Rica Natural Paper Company has been making tree free papers with no chemicals or additives since 1995. Considered one of the first tree free paper companies, Costa Rica Natural has set the standards for the industry. Now with new “Green Marketing” it seems we have become lost in all the new lingo and sales tactics of this Green market that we have helped to create. We have been the tree hugger favorite for years, a small successful company that continues to do what is natural- no chemicals or additives. We “walk the talk”; I like to think of us as the Ben and Jerry’s of the paper world with four Flavors of paper and more to come.

Costa Rica Natural Paper Company aka Ecopaper manufactures a full line of natural tree-free paper, journals, gift stationery and other office products, using Banana, Coffee, Lemon, Mango and Tobacco using the plantations “Agro Industrial Waste”. These by-products become our natural tree-free papers or would have other wise ended up in a landfill or river.

Costa Rica Natural is committed to an ideal that reaches far beyond the scope of the paper business. It begins with a commitment to providing the highest quality product possible and to preserving the environment and being socially responsible along the way. We view our products as a fine mixture of technology and craft. Costa Rica Natural paper products are dramatic evidence how recycling industrial quantities of agricultural by-products and post consumer paper can be artistically and usefully reborn, rather than ending up in landfills or rivers.

The idea of recycling is not new, and neither is the idea of using recycled materials to create designer paper pieces. Costa Rica Natural Paper Company has become an industry leader in perfecting the use of exotic tropical Fibers as alternative paper content. Through ongoing research, we have developed an economically feasible use for an agro industrial waste that would otherwise pollute the environment. It is a challenging process, but the resulting paper textures and tones are inspiring. No chemicals or additives are used in our process, it’s natural, our papers contain no bleach, no chlorine or other toxic chemicals.
