What is gratitude? Well, simply defined it means the state of being grateful or thankfulness. The best thing is that this simple, easy positive action is free and available to all. But you must first be able to allow gratitude into your life so that health, success, love, and happiness can flow toward you. Being laid off and facing foreclosure, I have decided to be a part of the solution instead of the problem. I want to set an example for others to follow to inspire them toward achieving their life goals. I kept asking myself, "What can I do" to make a difference in the world. For I believe, we are all on this planet for a reason and it is up to each of us to discover what that reason is. You must contemplate what you are, rather than what you want to become. I strongly believe my true purpose in life is to share these feelings of gratitude with as many people as possible. So, this is what I did.
I first developed an idea for a product called the Gratitude Ball, which once held in your hand and squeezed is a powerful reinforcement tool, a gentle reminder to feel the positive energy and put yourself in the right state of mind immediately. Then I committed himself to taking this gratitude journey, one step further by establishing the first Gratitude Tour, which was filmed in San Diego. The purpose of this Gratitude Tour is to have our members, called the Grat Pack, spread the importance of being grateful by doing random acts of kindness and giving back to society.

My ultimate goal is to build Gratitude Centers to improve relationships, health, finance and the state of happiness. The Gratitude Center would also include a theatre to showcase speakers, shops, a yoga facility, and a café.
The point about this article is that sometimes you need to think outside the box. If there is something you want and you don't have it then ask for it, stand up to it, make a difference, make people think, do what you believe is right and forget about your critics. Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forgive about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason.
Do you want to know a secret? The secret to life is to know what you want and be willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Combining this with daily gratitude for what you have right now, will open up more of what you really want in life.
