The process for reaching your ideal weight is the same one required to manifest any desire.
1) Make peace with where you are right now.
Find things to appreciate. Become as happy and content with where you are as you can possibly be, even to the point of (almost) saying, "If nothing changes, it's still OK." It's so important to know that we can't move from Point A to Point B while harboring dislike for Point A.
To many people, of course, this concept is unknown, and they try to motivate and drive themselves from Point A to Point B by focusing on how bad Point A is. It IS possible to get to Point B that way, but it will be an arduous struggle, and most folks sooner or later find themselves, frustrated and perplexed, back at Point A.
In the case of weight loss, it's very difficult to reach one's desired weight by disliking extra pounds. Dislike of anything holds it or something equally unwanted to us with cosmic Superglue.
2) Deliberately think happy thoughts.
Visualize and fantasize about having your desire --NOT to make something happen but rather for the sheer pleasure of the process. Enjoy this procedure concerning other desires, as well. In addition, deliberately savor happy memories, and look for things to appreciate in your current experience. Thus you've got the past, present, and future covered with regards to good-feeling thoughts.
If you find yourself thinking bad-feeling thoughts on any subject, deliberately reach for a thought that feels better. With every good-feeling thought and with every less-bad-feeling thought, you have moved one step closer to manifesting the things you want in all areas of life, tangible and intangible.
3) Remind yourself regularly: It's about thoughts. It's about thoughts. It's all about thoughts.
Sometimes repetition and redundancy are called for, as we're accustomed to solving things through action and even more action when the previous action proved less than effective. With regard to weight, there's no dearth of diet books, there's no scarcity of exercise equipment, and there's no lack of people frantically using those items. If it were simply about expending effort, achieving one's target weight would be a piece of cake.
It's about vibration, and vibration is comprised of nothing more than habits of thought. A fairly happy vibration is industrious and WORKS ON OUR BEHALF in ways that we could never begin to muster or comprehend. A fairly happy vibration makes continual trips to our vibrational escrow warehouse for us, bringing back the metabolism we've always wanted, the body fat ratio we desire, and even the abs and rump of our dreams. An unhappy vibration, on the other hand, does nothing to bring us our desires. It can't even find its way to our vibrational warehouse, and it can't afford a Garmin, Magellan, or even a lousy compass.
As we make it about mental focus, our actions will easily fall in line. And as we practice soothing ourselves via our thoughts, any need for "comfort food" will dissipate. We'll love our food, our food will love us, and we'll go our merry way.
