Well, not so much insomnia as whack a$$ sleeping patterns. It started after I left X-man in June. I used to go to be at 10 or 11 and get up at 7 or 8 there abouts to get the kid ready for school and whatnot. I was used to getting up and being in work by 7am before I lost my job. Then I started staying at my cousins and going to bed at all hours and sleeping in until literally noon to two o'clock. Not a good look for a buncha almost 30 year olds. We partied EVERY night almost after the kids went to sleep. 4 gallons of wine between 3 adult women a week is a LOT.
So now I am stuck with this screwed up sleeping patterns here living with my dad. I was staying up until all hours until recently, but I still sleep until 2 o'clock in the afternoon until my kid needs to be picked up from school. Then I try to go to bed between10- and 1 am but I can't stay asleep. Even the intervention of cold medicine and benadryl doesn't work. It works for a few hours, then I wake up. I need to stay awake. I get nothing accomplished sleeping the ENTIRE DAY AWAY like I do. I need to work out but I'm sleeping. I'm grateful I have this time at home but I'm sleeping my days away. I know the only cure for this is staying up all day and going to bed at a normal hour. I have too. This is the only way I'm going to be able to get back into a normal routine. It's 8:00am and I'm just taking my kid to school and I'm yawning when I should be geared up to get stuff done. I'm determined to get through this day without sleeping so I can get a full night's rest.
