The basics of mediation, or the very first step, is learning the
is pronounced eww (oo) ja ee, and it is simply breathing in through your nose, and out through your nose, with your tongue at the roof of your mouth, a kind of a Darth Vador noise will be made. If you hear a funny Darth Vador tone, then you've done the Ujjayi breath. Do it three or four times, in a standing position, with your hands in the prayer position, and this is a basic yoga move...but I'm not typing this to teach yoga. It is tempting, though.
Ujjayi breath is a calming and balancing breath that takes the oxygen through your chakras. When you send oxygen through your chakras, you can open them, and cleanse them yourself. Or, you can pay me,and I can cleanse your chakras....when I get a client who asks me to cleanse their chakras, I gladly take their money, and teach them this technique, with the visualization that is real, of the Ujjayi breath traveling in and out of each chakra until it is clear, combine it with their own energy field.:. Ujjayi breath clears your thoughts, and helps with balancing them as well. This is the first step in mediation.
You don't have to fold yourself up to a pretzel, or even sit uncomfortable to do meditation.Just sit in a chair, with your feet flat on the floor. I'd have you close your eyes, but you couldn't read this. Later, when you have progressed, you don't even have to close your eyes. Okay, so, are you in a chair, with your feet flat on the floor? Do you know why your feet need to be flat on the floor? You're GROUNDED!!! Ha. Do a few Ujjayi breaths, and picture your energy going from your body through your feet, to the floor, to the earth, to the center of the earth. You need to ground your energy so you'll not be bouncing all over the room. If you are cold, dress warm enough to be comfortable, but don't struggle over this. Remember, there is never a struggle.
Do a few Ujjayi breaths. Do you feel your thoughts clearing? There, you just did meditation...If you keep it up for 15 minutes a day, 7 days a week, eventually, you'll find your thoughts clear for manifesting. You'll be able to think through tasks easier. You'll have seriously less or no doubt. And you'll find you have no struggle. I'm emphasizing struggle. Nothing works if you try too hard, or if you struggle. Your life is guided by you,and your guides. They will hold back if they think you are struggling. Ujjayi breath is the basis of meditation, and it lifts the struggle. It's not a technique of force. Also, I suggest you learn to do this with your eyes open, cause it's really cool, after you've advanced your technique, to say, "I do conscious mediation."
