Not just another MLM program! I really didn't even want to get involved with another one. I've had some hits and misses, more misses than hits in network marketing and I've burned out my warm market. It's like the boy who cried wolf, "no really this is the best African berry juice, it cures everything, look at all the testimonials"! Yada, yada, yada. So, when my friends told me about Zeekler, skeptical isn't even a strong enough word to describe what I was thinking.
"Never give up", in the words of the great networker "Big" Al Schreider. There were some programs that I had to eventually quit, because with my losses it was not economically feasable to continue. Aside from that, I never give up, in the sense that I look at every opportunity that my friends and acquaintances present to me, because you never know which one will be the grand slam. I may be skeptical, but I look at everything with an opened mind; I'm just cautious because I've been burned once or twice before. After all the years and business opps that I have participated in, I have criteria that an opportunity must meet before I decide to get involved. Who are the principles? What are their backgrounds and how long have they been in business? How old is the company? Does the company have debt? Are there public shares or is it privately own? Mainly the typical kinds of questions that would be prudent to ask when doing any kind of due diligence.
I open mindedly looked at Zeekler, which is considered to be a live internet penny auction company. Zeekler actually also runs other types of auctions and provides an ecommerce platform for it's members to do retail sales. The parent company has been around for more than 14 years (I like that) and Zeekler is debt free. It's purported to be in the top percentile as far as size of the company and popularity for online auction sites. Ok, so I found out, they are definitely rock solid, but how does one make money with Zeekler?
Zeekler has at least 5 or 6 different ways to get affiliates paid. Like most other so-called "online opportunities", all the different ways hinge upon the affiliate's ability to drive traffic to the site. There are commissions for retail sales and volume and downline etc, all the usual. What caught my eye however, was the Zeek Rewards company profit pool ( a profit sharing program), that reward "qualified' affiliates with a share of the company's net profits, each day! Zeek rewards only began at the beginning of 2011, and didn't officially launch until August 15. The company totals up the profits for the day, at a set time at the end of each business day, they calculate the numbers and split the profits with the qualifying affiliates. Zeekler is a world-wide company, with over 3 million registered customers, so the company's profits have been quite substancial.
What does it take to "qualify"? First, one must sign up as an affiliate, it's probably better to sign up as a free retail customer first, this way you can take advantage of a number of free bids that the company and it's affiliates give away in order to try the auctions, totally FREE! Then, after becoming a customer, one would want to sign up as an affiliate. A person can even sign up as a free affiliate just to check it out and see how it all works. Next, to qualify, each day, an affiliate must place an ad to drive traffic to Zeekler. The company provides the cut and paste ad copy and they provide a list of sites to advertise on. You choose your ad, cut it, then choose your site, paste the ad, receive a link to your ad and submit it to the company. Personally, it takes me about 3 minutes or less to accomplish this task each day. Once the link is submitted, voila! you're qualified. It's the easiest most exciting thing I've ever seen. It is a real business and just as a disclaimer, it is not a "get rich quick" scheme. Still, as far as I am personally concerned, it's 100% the best opportunity that I have ever found.
