Fanatasing does not imply that what you desire is not going to manifest. You can enjoy dreamdreaming about something you desire and it will manifest-- unless you feel unworthy of it, or feel that for all practical purposes, it is beyond your reach.

What you are focusing on during the act is important to consider....make sure it really is the essence of what you are reaching for...sexual energy is quite a tool in energy work in more than one metaphysical discipline.

No you wouldn't be rejecting the manifestation just because of what you were doing.

But if you focus on the idea of having to materbate because you don't have the girl of your dreams... ie, tearing yourself down or feeling sorry for yourself... then that is a pretty strong barrier against it.

Most of the guys (and some women) I know masturbate whether or not they are getting sex from a partner. It's just something nice to do for yourself....gets the endorphins flowing. I agree with sirgalahadwizard, though, if you think of it as something you "have to do" because you're not getting any, then those thoughts will be a barrier to you.

What about if you think violent or unacceptable thoughts while you masturbate?! I know this may sound strange, and I am sorry if I have offended anyone, but what if a person thinks about something they would NEVER want to manifest in their life while they are doing this?

This could be a window into that person's subconsious. Even if consciously she would never want it, does a part of her want it or maybe want what it represents? For instance, if a person fantasizes about being raped while masturbating, it could mean that subconsciously that person believes that she deserves to be raped....OR it could also mean that subconsciously that person is excited by the idea of losing control because she feels like she has to be in control in the whole rest of her life....OR it could be something else altogether. It's worth a closer look. If she found anything, then that's where she would focus her energy to shift toward something more positive. For the example above, the person might try doing affirmations around self-acceptance and forgiveness, or giving herself permission to not be perfect. That said, whatever is discovered, she shouldn't beat herself up for having the fantasies. We can be thankful for our windows, because otherwise we might not realize that there are things that need to be checked out.

sounds like an abuse survivor...remember the good dog, bad dog analogy...feed the good dog, starve the bad? Careful what appetites you are feeding, maintaining and becoming acclimated to.You will lose access to the gentler emotions and may develop into a sado masochist. In other words, someone so numb that extremes are necessary to release. BORING.

Thank you for that insight, I appreciate it. No, the fantasies are not of rape. My concern, after reading some of the posts here, is that what we picture in our minds while masturbating may come true. Is that possible? Could this actually happen to a person if they think on it and does the energy released during an orgasm make the visualization more likely to come true? This is scary.

The fantasy is NOT of abuse of any such thing. So that clears it all.

The question is the person u immensely love. so in effect mastrubation could be a gr8 way of getting her to manifest in ur life if you you fantasize right about her. is that right? is there any such thing as over sexed or over masturbation. is 6 times normal? without any negative effects except what others seem to call addiction but u feel normal about it.

To answer your question: as long as you are still living your life, honoring your commitments, and participating in other activities, and as long as you are not inflicting injury on yourself, you are fine. If you ever start arranging your schedule or eliminating other activities so that you can masturbate, then you might want to make some changes.
