I saw this movie befor The Secret. I think if I hadn't seen it first I might not have understood and believed in LOA. I would really love some discussion on this movie.

Hi Seeker,

I've seen the Bleep about 20 times. I have my own copy - lol - and I used to let it see to people. It was an amazing experience, and I still think it's an amazing movie. Each time I saw it I discovered new things, new connections, new layers, new insights. Did you see the Rabbithole as well?

Dear Viktor,
I knew I’d like you the second I saw your pic! I own it and the rabbit hole, I have watched all, more times than I can count! I am relatively intelligent, but I am not a quantum physicist! LOL No matter how many times I watch, I find some thing I missed.
Do you know, what all receptors are on a cell? I understand the ones for peptides (sp?) but they surely have receptors for nutrients etc.. also, right? They mention the cell not even being able to get the nutrients after 20 years of bad thinking… So I guess what I’m wondering is what other receptors does each cell have, are they the same as for peptides, and are peptides just for emotions, or are some peptides for another function? Do the nutrient turn into peptides then lock into the cell, or are they absorbed in a different way. One thing that I have put a lot of thought into is, knowing that our observation determines the out come, how important is food? I was all ways into herbal remedies etc.. and good nutrition being important to good health. Now I find myself wondering if that is an extra step, instead of jumping right to the END RESULT. Is nutrition just like a placebo? I can’t wait to hear what you have to say about this!
I am just getting warmed up! I hope you know what you got your self into! LOL

Hey Seeker,
It's so funny I have had exactly the same thought you had regarding food. There is a book by Sondra Ray called "the only diet there is" and it's intended to lose weight but it's only about your thoughts and beliefs. How about that? I think that food is just like everything else, conditioned by our thoughts. We have certain ideas about nutrition and the way our body will react and so these ideas and expectations determine how our bodies behave.
I saw a case of a woman who went for years with no food or water. She actually thought it was possible, so it's pretty much the same as with everything else. People can heal using medicine or using their thoughts of health, whatever belief is more powerful will prevail. The same goes for nutrition, why on earth should we not be able to control how our body react to anything when we can control anything at all? I've seen some people saying things like: it's nature, biology, you cannot change that... well for me, those are limitations and I think for anybody who's been on the journey for a while, it's pretty clear that limitations exist only in our minds.
Hope I wasn't rambling here, I'm not a native English speaker, but I'd love to continue these discussions! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on this.

Dear Joy !!!

I know your name here is SoW, but your joy and energy just explode from my screen, so please don't mind me calling you Joy today ;). And I just read your message about the fire at your house, which sounds terrible, so I am sending you right now lots of good energy, prosperity and solutions with your insurance.

I am sorry for not responding sooner. As a matter of fact, I've been away for a while, so I just read your sweet reply and yes, I am questioning myself now what I have got myself into ... LOL.

Than again, I am no physician so I guess I can be excused ... I know peptides are made out of amino acids and a debate is raging about the distinction between peptides and proteins (more or less polypeptides).
I found this shred of text:
"Twenty standard amino acids are used by cells in protein biosynthesis, and these are specified by the general genetic code. These 20 amino acids are biosynthesized from other molecules, but organisms differ in which ones they can synthesize and which ones must be provided in their diet. The ones that cannot be synthesized by an organism are called essential amino acids."
And:
"Twenty amino acids are encoded by the standard genetic code and are called proteinogenic or standard amino acids. Other amino acids contained in proteins are usually formed by post-translational modification, which is modification after translation in protein synthesis. These modifications are often essential for the function or regulation of a protein; for example, the carboxylation of glutamate allows for better binding of calcium cations, and the hydroxylation of proline is critical for maintaining connective tissues and responding to oxygen starvation. "
And:
"Of the 20 standard proteinogenic amino acids, 8 are called essential amino acids because the human body cannot synthesize them from other compounds at the level needed for normal growth, so they must be obtained from food. However, the situation is a little more complicated since cysteine, tyrosine, histidine and arginine are semiessential amino acids in children, because the metabolic pathways that synthesize these amino acids are not fully developed. The amounts required also depend on the age and health of the individual, so it is hard to make general statements about the dietary requirement for some amino acids."

Ok, so where does this bring us? LOL. I have no idea. ;). What I do know is that I like food for a variety of reasons:
* It often gives me tremendous pleasure (and sometimes stress ;)) to prepare food, it is a fun and creative process
* I really enjoy eating it, I can take a long time just tasting things. I don't eat much, but - lol - I often take longer than anyone else at the table, because I taste. A friend once said: you don't eat, you dine ...
* Eating together is a wonderful social activity and I don't think I have to elaborate on that ;).

Whether food is a placebo or not, I wouldn't know. Seeing the text snippets above, I have the impression that we can't survive long without food and liquid. But even if we could, I think I wouldn't want to discard the other joys that they bring ...

Wishing you the best and thank you for the smile you brought to my face today
Viktor

P.S. Are you seeking or finding ;)

genius! Thank you, SeekerofWsidom, for reminding me about What the Bleep. I meant to see that again. I have seen it about two times, quite a while ago and I saw it before The Secret as well. I thought it was strange when I first saw it, but I know I would love it now. I love this thread. This was very needed in this forum. Thank you!

Love, Natalie

LOVE THE RABBIT HOLE! I own both and can't get enough. What is your favorite part? I think I couldn't pick a favorite! I loved the water experiment, I loved the peptides explanation, and the forming of thoughts and the long term relationships, the poor brain not knowing the diffrence between what it see and what it remembers, the random generator stuff, and the meditation for Washington DC!
On the second disc of the rabbit hole they do the "double slit" experiment I have to say it is my favorite.I can't wait till you see it!

Hi,

Yes, I met the people who produced it, because it originally came from the Ramtha School of Enlightenment where I was at the time they presented it.

Interestingly enough, at first noone would look at their movie, they used the power of focus which everyone here calls the LOA to create it going around the world.

I have to admit I didnt like the bleep at first and I have attended ramthas school 7 years so I know where they were coming from with what the bleep.

Somehow if you ask me - the bleep is harder to understand than the Secret. The secret is made in a very basic form but thats to get people to understand if you ask me. The bleep for me goes beyond, goes beyond dimensions, its really for me really different.

anyways, what did you want to speak about?

Dear Barbara,
How incredibly cool! I would love to have met them. In fact it is a goal! I KNOW I will get to.
I loved the secret and true it is easier to understand, but I know if I hadn't seen what the bleep first, I wouldn't have taken the secret seriously. I have always loved science, I always need to see thing under a microscope, I never did well with blind faith, I’m a real show me kinda girl! They tell us how to apply LOA in the secret but they didn’t tell me why it works. Much of the info in the secret is old info presented a new way. Matt 11:24 ,Therefore I say, anything you ask for in prayer, believe you already have it and it will be yours. I had heard it read it etc.. but I need to see WHY IT WORKS! I NEEDED PROOF! What the bleep gave me that! (or at least my observation of it) LOL
I think I understand what you mean by it going way beyond for you. It does for me too.

Dear Eddie,
Have you seen the down the rabbit hole edition? I wouldn't have taken the secret seriously if I hadn't seen what the bleep. I don't have any ebooks unfortunatley, but I' d love to see what you have. One man here on PI sent a couple video clips that had to do with DNA strands, VERY intresting and I want to find out more. No scientific data in it though. After what the bleep I know that EVERY THING is only true to the individual observer, and therefore all things are false and true! LOVE THAT! Super positioning! Cool! It is off track but I would sure love to know more about your part of the world too!

It is JUST GREAT!!!!! As I said before, I sorted out several things that were kinda "floatin´ around" after viewing THE SECRET some people has had the opposite experience (viewing What the Bleep.... first)

All the same, The two in my opinion are some sort of "Ying Yang thing" one being the complement of the other.

Then I experienced yet another "complement" to the experience I read Richard Bach´s ILLUSIONS.

Then and only then it really dawned on me THE SHEER POWER OF THOUGHS.

Bless you all Beautiful people
