LIFE PURPOSE

Since I have found "the Secret" and Law of Attraction and Powerful Intentions, I am working to discover my purpose of this particular life. I know what my dreams are and what I have been pursuing, but truly wonder if that is my purpose.

From what I gather, it seems that our purpose is pure joy... to be able to express and BE that joy. Sometimes it can be difficult knowing what it is that makes you feel that way...when there are bills to pay and whatnot. But meditation seems to keep me out of trouble that way, and back into alignment. When I do it, and ask for something to be shown to me, and it happens, i then get excited about it all over again. I'd have to say that THAT in itself brings me joy..

I believe my true Purpose for this life is to spread Healing throughout the world.

I believe that is the purpose for many peoples lives and together we will change things.

I feel today that our true purpose is to BE that which we already are --deLight of the One -- and we are here to shine the light into the dark. This is said in oh so many ways by oh so many 'enlightened' ones. Those that lived long ago, recently, and even now. Yes, we are to heal it and return home. And while we are here, we can enjoy abundance too! We are to be an example!

If you ask me, there's no specific purpose to life. Life itself is the purpose. Just hope I do not get too complicated from here on....lol...! Just let's suppose your whole life is just like hell, really dark! What would you do? How would you respond to what comes to you, what by definition just could be things coming straight from there, HELL! Would you be able to see any purpose? Probably not, as the whole focus is catch by all the things in your life that make it ..A Hell! That's where people mostly say: "Com'on, be realistic, be down to earth...etc...etc...!"...with a complete predefined picture of "What Real Life Is..", not realising that they just got exactly what has been defined directly or indirectly.

But a very little number of person is able to focus on heaven by being in hell. But that's possible. What doesn't mean that you won't feel the fear that you feel in hell anymore. But at least it doesn't catch your whole focus and because of that, you are more focused on what you aspire to.
You become far much cooler inside and that's the trigger to your life. I've a long list of things I wanna do in my life, but they're not the purpose, they just serve the purpose! The purpose is: Me, Yourself & US!!!
Thoses catched inside the Me,Myself&I-Mentality...are only cut from the rest, they just haven't realised it yet.
But on the other hand & in other words, I'm(You're) the purpose I'm(you're) looking to reach, to have, to achieve or how ever someone will define it.

Now, how do others fit into this?

Well, they choose other ways to get to exactly the same point what is by my experience more a state of being than anything else. But they just won't experience it the same way as I do or you do. "The purpose of Life"...this quote leads people to think that they have look for it or search it. Everybody does, at one time or another in his/her life. But this only until s/he understands sth. very crucial or better told, becomes aware of sth. crucial.
That's also a moment where you start to change the way you used to believe things and start to point your believes ...just like a laser and it doesn't matter what you believe!
The more you explore, the more you really will need a big Timer and alot of time to note all the steps you did.
The more you inplore,..the more obvious you will recognize that you just need one step to open your personal life-door and accept what comes throught it. Then, it won't matter what you do, that you would have considered "Your Life Purpose" otherwise. Because you opened the door, it just comes out and out....and out........It's just like me now...I should try to keep it short, but sometimes(always..lol..)...I just can't!!!!
That's what happens when the door is completely open.
Therefore, everything is a purpose as it serves you and you become the purpose of others...or part of it as you serve THEM!
Love is the central part of it all.

Maybe there really is a specific purpose. Maybe yours is to keep it short. lol Just kidding honest Blackpearls, just kidding.

And I agree with what you're saying here. I think the "purpose" (or opportunity) of life is to express the joy of our Creator through ourselves. Sure goes contrary to the Catholic guilt I was brought up in. You know, when in doubt, blame the Catholics. lol

often your true purpose is to transform a weak area of your life experience to become what Max Cleland (former head of the Veterans Administration and triple amputee from the Viet Nam war) called 'becoming strong at the broken places." Life give us opportunities often disguised as problems.

For me, purpose is ultimately to experience power (as in empowerment), freedom, love, and joy as fully as possible. I also have a strong sense that I came into this life with a sort of "pre-set intention" or strategy for creative exploration - a set of life paths to follow that establish the context for realizing purpose.

The three "intentions" that I resonate with are expression, trust, and creativity. I believe my spiritual intention is to engage with these in ways that transform consciousness and expand possibility. They underpin virtually every challenge/obstacle/problem I have ever faced and they are the springboard for every step in the direction of power, freedom, love, and joy that I take.

My understanding of these "intentions" also evolves constantly, sometimes in startling ways. Mostly I find that myself shifting from an external vantage point (for example, I used to think my creative journey was all about creating material 'works') to an internal vantage point (in which creativity is all about creating who I am being and becoming).

hi, this is my first post here, I just joined!

I am still working on the true purpose of life but since reading the secret I am changing and becoming a much happier person. I am thankful for so much and count my blessings every day. Most people I know focus on what they don't have rather than what they do have........that can't be the purpose of life surely! So I think its to live in the moment and appreciate what we have but to still strive for more as long as it makes us happy and doesn't hurt others.

My life purpose is being revealed to me piece by piece in the moments that I turn inward, ask the questions, do the footwork and let go of the results. I am trying to get in alignment my life purpose with the will of God and I truly believe that the will of God is for abundance and joy and beauty and health. How that will continue to manifest in my life is unknown. I just have to show up. Joining this group was a step in my showing up and I am sure more shall be revealed. Thanks. Jeanette
