Sorry, this is kinda off topic, but you made me remember of my childhood when I use to run really fast and then jump off the ground with my arms wide open(I wasn't afraid of getting hurt, lol), and for a couple of seconds I flew. It was really fun...for that couple of seconds, hehe.

I would love to do Astral traveling! Could you please tell me more? At the moment I am quite scared to try it, because of the stories I've heard.

Hi Bernard,

I do a lot of guided meditations and always loved to be guided into peaceful scenes, country scenes, or being by the sea, or a forest. I also spent a lot of time with guided meditations including one where you go into the human body and heal each organ one by one. But when I did Dick Sutphen's Astral Travelling, I just took to it. First he guides you to imagine standing in front of your own front door and noticing all the details of the door and then entering your house and coming back to where ever you are sitting, so its a guided meditation but your awareness has been to a different location. From there he guides you to go up on your roof and lift off into the skies. Eventually you can do it without the guided meditations and for me it is the most liberating thing I have ever done.

There is absolutely nothing to fear. Well, I can say I fear nothing about it as I only believe in a God of LOVE, I dont believe in any negative force, except the absence of love here in the physical plane, but when you do astral travelling, you are leaving the physical realm and travelling in a spiritual or astral plane. I have seen instructions in different books about astral travelling , about protecting yourself against spirits, but if you dont believe them they dont manifest in your realm. You could just ask God to guide you or ask for an angel to be with you and then thank them after the session.

Dick Sutphen also says a few things that i ignore, like you must lie on your back or sit upright so that your spirit can find its way back ...but I find that is not true. Lying on your back does seem to keep you more aware and turning on your side might make you fall asleep but the instant you stop thinking you are back in your body. I dont believe that you can lose your soul or it lose you !!

In fact I dont believe we ever "leave" our body as I think the spirit or astral body is huge and you really only travel within its confines ...which seems to be almost limitless !!

I sit on a couch or lie down and breathe and relax as if I was meditating, and then I express an interest in rising upwards ...I use to have trouble imagining moving through the floors and ceilings to get up on the roof ...but that is not necessary ..I find it easier to quickly find yourself sitting on the roof, looking at the sky or the stars, feeling the breeze, and looking around to recognise neighbours houses etc. My prefered travel is just to go up, fast though the clouds and out into outer space, I glance back at earth or look for the moon, but more often than not I just keep going up and up, passing stars, just like in the movies about space. I usually stop at what I think is the end of our galaxy, and I sit on a kind of dust cloud and watch the colours. The instant I think of going back I am back ...I have tried to slow my descent but that is very hard more me. But it is such FUN ..I cant describe it.

DIck Sutphen, has all kinds of interesting exercises like travelling on Earth to known destinations, I just cant do that yet, or rather I havent tried much. and he talks of remote viewing ...which I also never got a hold of.

I think it is like dreaming, you cannot really verify where you have been or what you are really doing ..is it imagination, is it just fantasy, is it a manifestation or is it really travelling. Dick Sutphen believes it is real and has done experiements where he astral travels to friends houses and tells them what in on their hall tables ...I have tried this but I dont like the idea of intruding in peoples homes and besides all I want is the senation of flying.


I could go on and on but I will answer any questions if you have some.

Give it a try, tonight just imagine yourself sitting on your roof !! you dont really need instructions but if you like you can buy a tape and learn some of the techniques, Its so enjoyable.

I've regrown my reclining hairline, after been told by numerous people it was in-curable. Right you are, I says. :)

Good for you Little John!! I've always believed that hair can totally be regrown. I"m so happy to see someone that has done it on here. That is so awesome.

No, I really don't want to manifest another arm, though I guess that would be right handy. I determined I needed an extra pair after I had my son and carried him around all over the place.

But he's 8 now so I'd have had to manifest them away again. It's just too expensive to buy clothes with 4 armholes and/or sleeves.

But seriously, there's a particular thing I want and at times it seems next to impossible, but...something inside me just keeps at it!

Now, how about a little cosmetic surgery....
