Is everybody in this forum reached their ideal weight already? why havent i found any post about weight lost?
Okay guys help me. I want to reach my ideal weight, 48kgs. Im right now 59 kgs.. Any tips anyone?
I wish u all a happy, healthy, ideal and abundant life.

On the Secret (audio book) it says not to think "losing weight" because you'll have to put on weight to lose it.

I'm new to the "thinking yourself thin" (my sister did it though, so it's possible, imo); however in any fitness programme they say to have a visual picture in your mind (preferably a physical picture--say from a magazine etc--you can paste your pic over your ideal body and put it where you see it) of what you want to be. Put the numbers up (I put my ideal weight over my scale, so when I looked down I saw it). I would take a measuring tape (fabric) and measure my waist and suck in and move the tape to the number I wanted to be (in inches)...not much success, but that's because I doubted a lot. I love the Body For Life Programme (by Bill Phillips or the Woman's by ....brain fade, last name is Peake. great books and insight of how to overcome your beliefs that act as barriers and thus helping you stick with a programme). And it's only a 12 week programme.
Some people do EFT (Emotional...something Therapy :D...sorry, I just finished with a test that took me all day, so my brain is still in test mode).
Another idea--we're suppose to be feeling good, thinking, being extra--do things and take into your body things that feel good and only take the amount that makes you feel energised and good.

I love fitness and I love talking with people about fitness and seeing them reach their goals.
Do you drink water? How much (avg) per day?
How many times do you eat a day?
Do you exercise? What kind? (anything from sports to walking).
Do you believe you can be your ideal weight?
Do you believe you deserve it? (That's from BFL Women's).
You may want to analyse your thoughts and ask yourself if you truly belief you deserve and can be 48 kgs.
Enjoy being healthy. Food isn't a treat (though, I think it is...:S) and eating pass 7-8 pm may hinder your progress (depending on your beliefs).

I like to lose some weight too, I love chocolate too too much LOL.... but I am having a weekend getaway end of this month with some good old friends and hope to lose a few pounds atleast to look presentable :>)

Try EFT... not saying it works because I haven't tried it myself yet, but it's meant to be good. There's a site that gives some instructions on how to use EFT effectively on www.emofree.com. Let us know how you get on!

EFT helps clear the resistance you have to manifesting what you desire.

First, you are presentable. You have many gifts, and your amazing body is one of them.

Second, try taking some magnesium - or eat dark chocolate instead. Sometimes a craving for chocolate is actually a magnesium craving in disguise (we lose magnesium if we are under stress....!); also have your B12 checked out to make sure you have enough- and taking a b complex vitamin wouldn't hurt either if you are under any stress whatsoever.

Yup, first you have to be grateful for what you have - ie your body. How is your body amazing? How can you appreciate your body more, and treat it with respect? I think coming from a place of respect with your body sets you up for a more sustainable weight loss, rather than looking at it as something that you don't like.

For instance, if you respect your body - you won't go on a crash diet, you will feed it nourishing and enriched foods, and you will ensure that you get enough sleep on a nightly basis. Work from that platform and I think you'll be more successful.

Hey everybody thank u oh so very very much! i made progress! i made this mental note of myself that says, "i dont care about my weight because its already good and whatever i do makes me thinner by the day". And then, unconciously, i started eating less, and only eat when im hungry. Start to crave on walking(i used to hate it), now i could spend additional 40 minutes of walking everyday. And i stopped drinking sweet drinks(that i fuckin love) and now i only drink water and milk! but i dont go on the scales anymore, coz if i do, it just proves myself that i feel insecure about my weight. So the indicator for my idealing body is the compliments i get from people! yeay i love my life!!! so the lesson i learned is that the secret and affirmations and etc are actually not some magic. They are tools that will lead u the way and all but its you urself that makes urself thin. And every step towards ur goal has logical reasons! cool right? when im all sexy-ed up, i'll post some photos..

Oh man am I going to open my self up for something here.

two years ago i was fliriting with the BIG 400.

now I am kissing the little big 295.

How did I do it? everyone asks? Oh my.....I say back>>.Diabetic Type 2.

I am the Merry Lil Diabetic. I am working slowly to get to 170 when ever I get there.
