This is very complicated. I read most replies, but not all, I confess. But I do not think I want to changed my past. It make me who I am today. I am happy with good things and bad things, because it is all me.

OK ....Sorry!! but i'm getting a bit frustrated (please understand why) ! maybe my question didn't make sense??.... i will explain what i don't want to read ... " it cannot be done" " I don't or wouldn't change my past" "You can't literally erase the past" "change your now"...I KNOW AND BELIEVE THERE IS MORE THAN JUST CHANGING OUR PERCEPTION OF OUR PAST ------ things that are unexplainable - beyond the impossible!

Several ideas and books and so forth have crossed my path that are certainly thought-provoking...many are complimentary to the LOA. One of the views expressed has to do with the nature of time. This is interesting -- and might add to what we're discussing here. It could be that this has already been mentioned. It's the idea that we experience time, but everything is occurring all at once. In that respect, at least mentally, when you think about it, if it's all happening at once, it would seem possible. Besides, our experience of the past morphs anyway -- what we remember may not be exactly as it happened.

The main question is how this can be done! Part of it is awareness, and for me with some of these ideas (I'm not interested in changing the past but am interesting in healing, etc.) just have to soak in and help to increase my level of belief that reality isn't as it seems!

i just thought of one thing ...sorry if anyone has mentioned this ( i cannot not be bothered going back to check)....but if we did /could change the past to how we wished it to be back then maybe we would not realize the past has been changed at all! ( which would make total sense!!!!!)

Yet at the same time we are not to dwell or look back at the past or even the future,but we are to focus only on today or "now."
And then ,...there are parallel universes or realities,
Since the idea with parallel universes is that all possibilities exist in different timelines, one can go and see a past that was different.

i really don't believe we can not dwell on the past or future bit ... i totally loathe it when people say " you can't change the past" ..."the past has gone" ... "what is done is done" to me that's really ignorant ...ok fine that's their belief .. but also isn't it limiting the power of the law of attraction? ... the universe is phenomenal ....here are things in this world we cannot comprehend.. so why should we stop our belief at that..

I am very interested in Federov100's posts here. If I understand this correctly, each person is floating in a multidimensional sea of infinite possibilities. By perceptually choosing one item however large or small changes the context to match for everything before it and after it.
So, if I were able to will my hair to be black. It could be done, but I would never remember that it was blonde because the entire context of reality has changed equally to match.
So what does this mean exactly?

Kevin , That's what i would think too .....we would not remember the change ( makes more sense that way) maybe that's why people don't believe we can change the past bc they have to actually know and see for themselves after the the change has been done ...but as my theory goes "if you believe and have faith it it can and will happen " ........god can do anything since he's outside space and time

Kara,

i garrentee you as people get older and I mean OLDER into their 70, 80, 90 their memory of their Past changes and for some completely disappears.

For some of us with neck injuries it distorts right after it happens.

So yes it is possible. I am not meaning to be a smart mouth. I just know how I remember my yesterdays and how my dad who is 91 remembers my yesterday is two vastly different yesterdays.
