I just saw a posting about not making mistakes and that sparked me to sit down and write my first ever Blog.
We were admonished to be as little children in order to enter the Kingdom. Of course there are many interpretations of this, but one thing is for certain, kids make mistakes. Have you ever watched a child learn to ride a bike or a skateboard? They make lots of "mistakes," and usually lose some skin in the process. Yet, once they find their balance, whole new worlds of fun and exploration…

Have a great week, Dave!
There are a couple of places I have always wanted to live and Alaska is at the top of the list.
I think I am going to have to visit your page often just to check out your pictures and be transported...

Dear Dave, Thanks for the wish of cooler weather for me. IT WORKED!! Your good! We have been in the 80 for highs several days in a row now! A regular cold front! LOL Your photos are AWESOME!! I have some good Alaska pic from when my daughter was up there. It is a one of a kind place! Your friend sounds fasinating. Telling me about her made me want to meet her so much. I was born and raised in the Colorado Rocky "hills" LOL The mountains are the most beautiful of all earths places. Of course, the older I get, and the more snow I shovel, the better the beaches look! On my first property we didn't have utilities, had to cook on the wood cook stove, etc.. good thing I can run a chain saw and an ax.LOL It really was a great experience. My kids were little then, and we had a mountain lion that hung out all the time. That part always worried me with kids out playing, but she never attacked any one. She would even bring her baby and come right up to the house. We raised a fawn one year when I was younger, bears in peoples houses, elk in the front yard. The mountains really are special. Please keep in touch and keep the great stories coming. Tell your friend I REALLY ADMIRE HER! PS my mom painted this.Love Bo
PEACE, Dinkgirl

Dear Dave, Just looking at your pic makes me cold. I have left it at the bottom of the screen since I will be needing it again today! Thanks for the chill! LOLYour pictures are AWESOME I love it
