Super Moon

A fine Happy St Patrick's Day to all!   I wanted to start a discussion about the upcoming so called "super moon" this Sat. MArch 19th.  Not just any full moon, but the closest the moon has been to the earth in 18 years!  How is everyone planning on ushering in this gift from the sky as well as the Vernal Equinox?  I am hoping for enough snow melt in the next few days so that I can unearth my bonfire pit.  I would love to have my inaugural bonfire at my new house on such an occasion!

    Happy Vernal Equinox everyone! Time for the pups to come out and play! I hope everyone paid homage to the beautiful moon last night.

    Thanks for the welcome! My birthday is 2 weeks from today so I will be celebrating as well! I absolutely love this transition into spring! As a bonus, it is a balmy and sunny 48 degrees outside today in VT! Leaving work early to try and dig out the fire pit in hopes of having it ready for Saturday! I will have to practice my howling. Perhaps I will take some lessons from my 3 labs!

    Hi Beth (Winter Moon -- nice handle!) . . .

    I think I will toss back a drink or three and howl robustly!  Yesterday was my birthday, and I was on the road . . . today is St. Paddy's day, and I'll be on the road once more . . . so the party will definitely have to be Super-Moon Saturday!
