WITHOUT SCHOOL, WHAT SHOULD HE BE PRACTICING?

 

Guest: I totally understand that most of what I need to do now is practice, because I mean I've..I've..

 

Abe: Mmm. Practice what?

 

Guest: Um, myself in the vortex. Well, as you told the last guy, I am  the vortex.

 

Abe: Practice what, practice what?

 

Guest: Umm, practice who I am?

 

Abe: Meaning? Practice what?

 

Guest: Nonresistance?

 

(audience laughs a bit)

 

Abe: And it plays out how?

 

Guest: Exactly the way I want it to?

 

(audience laughs hugely now)

 

Abe: But, how does it, what's the practice? In other words, what's the practice? Is it practice seeing clearly? No! Because when you're, when you've got, when you've already constructed something else and you dig into that; all you do is make what-is more emphatic. You just build the thought waves more in opposition to what you want. So, what we're practicing is getting into the vortex. And what, how does that play out?

 

I'm practicing being less intense.

 

I'm practicing trying less hard.

 

I'm practicing expecting things to happen.

 

I'm practing trusting what's in the vortex.

 

I'm practicing feeling good.

 

I'm practicing being easy.

 

I'm practicing being light.

 

I'm practicing non-thought.

 

I'm practicing being happier.

 

I'm practicing taking the edge off.

 

I'm practicing expecting things to work out.

 

I'm practicing being quiet about things I don't like.

I'm practicing the vortex.

 

I'm practicing flow.

 

I'm practicing ease.

 

I'm practicing chilling.

 

I'm practicing ...that's what you're practicing.

 

 

Guest: That's exactly the practice I was talking about.

 

Abe: But most people are PRACTICING! (begin ornery character voice being done by abe) Isn't there something in here about eyesight? No! That'd be over here. (audience is laughing, abe is using the cards to demonstrate their out of the vortex and affirming skit that they've been doing for the past year. Abe is making frustrated noises, continues in ornery character voice....) There should be something about eyesight in here. Surely there's something about eyesight (audience is laughing still, card box is being banged on table a bit) Oh! There it....that must be it! (pause, audience is laughing harder, abe is squinting at a card, continues still in ornery character voice) That must be it. (pause) No, that wasn't it. (audience laughter again). We, it's odd that we would mock our own genius work, but, there's a basic misunderstanding about how it is that you are creating. And most people are just trying so hard, trying so hard from a vibrational persuasion that is counter productive.

 

Guest: Outside the vortex.

 

Abe: Outside the vortex. So. So. Parents hear their son say, "I'm dropping out of school." and they freak. They just freak. Because they want you to apply yourself, they want you to be diligent. And we do too, but we want you to be in the vortex first. Because anything that you apply or try from outside the vortex...so

 

Would you say, in relationship to the word "try", would you say that the more specific you are, the more you are trying?

 

Guest: The more effort trying, yeah.

 

Abe: Trying and specific go together. So, if you're outside the vortex and you try, then you're building thought waves that are just going to come back and bite you later. In other words, it just makes it worse and worse and worse. If you are inside the vortex and you become more specific, what happens?

 

So, the whole key to this is knowing where you are on the vibrational spectrum before you begin to focus.

 

So, have we made the point that if you're outside the vortex defocus defocus defocus defocus. Diffuse diffuse. See less. In other words, isn't it wonderful that you're own physical body is showing you in very real terms that you're looking too hard before you've done the vibrational work, you see. And when you chill....

 

(story about Esther...)

Esther went to the driver's license place and looked into the little thing and couldn't read what was there. She said, "It's broken!" (audience laughs hugely) And it isn't broken, you probably just need glasses. You probably need to go have your eyes examined, get your glasses and come back and then look." And Esther thought "Oh. That's way too much trouble and I don't want to wear glasses while I drive. I like feeling my way through traffic." (audience laughs, fun)

 

Guest: And you no longer have the bus, right?

 

Abe: And so she said, "Abraham, can you read this?" So, we just tipped her head down, looked out the top of her eyes and read it. Don't you think that's remarkable? It's the same eyes, just different expectation.

 

So, everything is that way. It's all about that. Your expectation, expectaton, the best word for expectation, the best way of describing or defining expectation is: through some practice, aligning my vibrational frequency on a subject, to match that of my source within the vortex. And when that lines up, it has to be the way you want it to be. Helpful?

 

Guest: Yes. One more thing?

 

Abe: Yes. 

 

Guest: About mediation...( I appreciate that first thing...ummm) about meditation. I have a hard ...hard time...

 

Abe: Now this is a statement of observation that you are buidling a pathway that you are going to have to undo.

 

Guest: K

 

Abe: It's alright.

 

Guest: That's why I'm here.

 

Abe: But the question that we want to put to all of you is why go to the trouble of building a wall that you are going to have to take down before you get to go where you want to go? It's like, "Let me just build this little barricade for the purpose of clarification and then I'll knock it down and then I'll..."

 

In other words, just be aware of how you're phrasing things. How you're focusing your thoughts into sentences is a big part of the way you construct differently than you mean to. So when you started the sentence out with "I have a hard time with" you're just deliberately building a ...."The trouble with that is.." "What I don't like about that is.." "The thing that bothers me the most about this is..."

 

You have a bunch of those phrases (not just you but everyone does), so, let every sentence begin in the direction of where you hope to end up. "The improvement that I'm looking for is...." is constructing a thought wave that is different than the thought wave "The struggle I have with this is..." Do you see what we're getting at?

 

Guest: I do. And so I'll  say I would like to know the easiest way for me to release that resistance and get into the vortex because I'm a very physical person, I really like moving, so laying down....

 

Abe: Well usually the easiest way to release resistance on any subject is to take a hiatus from the subject. Because if you're having a hard time letting loose of it, it means it's specific. And the only reason it remains specific is because it's been getting quite a bit of recent traffic.

 

Quite a bit of recent attention.

 

So, if you can do something about diffusing the attention, by saying things like

 

"Well I don't have to think about that now."

 

And, "I'll just put that on the back burner",

 

And "I know I've got it; the new and improved version in my vortex, that's working it's way out."

 

And  "There isn't anything for me to do right now about that anyway and when I take effort from the standpoint of a vibration that doesn't match it, it's just counter productive anyway. So I think I'll just chill on this. "

 

Aren't those good statements? "Later Gater." Esther says "Later gater." Later gater. Later gater. It's her way of saying "If I think about it now I know I will be contructing thought paths that later I will have to undo, so I'm going to think about it later from inside the vortex."

 

Or, "I'm not gonna think about it."

 

Do you ever have people, they want to talk about it now? I want to talk about this and I want to talk about this now.

 

Please don't make me.

 

I want to talk about this and I want to talk about this now.

 

And you just know, no good's gonna come from it. It's just gonna get bigger and badder and bigger and badder and bigger and badder so, the best mantra from this seminar is "Later gater".

 

Guest: K. I  guess was just wondering if mediation is benefitting me at this time.

 

Abe: Always. Every single time. Because a successful mediation is a stopping of thought. And a stopping of thought is a releasing of resistance.

  • The difference between source and who you might be in your physical form is that source does not allow the world to show it the unwanted parts. In other words, that's the thing that your inner being really has to offer you; your inner being (or Abraham or your source), you will never be able to drag them out of the vortex to have that negative conversation or perspective with you, you see. And we don't want you to feel uncomfortable when you are out there because the world has shown you something, we just want when the world shows you something, for you to recognize the world showed it to me because it was in my vibrational vicinity and I can train myself in a way that that will no longer be in my vibrational vicinity and then the world will not be able to show that to me again.

    In other words, do you get in your car and the radio just has it's way with you? "You're going to listen to this today! You can push those buttons, you can twist those dials, but this is what you're gonna hear; this is what I the radio world seek to show you today!" It's not that way; you have a tuner. You have control over the frequency that you tune into. And you have control over the frequency of what the world shows to you because you are choosing what it shows to you by your frequency whether you do it deliberately or by default; you're choosing it.

  • We're asking you to trust in the Well-being. In optimism there is magic. In pessimism there is nothing. In positive expectation there is thrill and success. In pessimism or awareness of what is not wanted, there is nothing. What you're wanting to do is redefine your relationship with the Stream. We do not ask you to look at something that is black and call it white. We do not ask you to see something that is not as you want it to be and pretend that it is. What we ask you to do is practice moving your gaze. Practice changing your perspective. Practice talking to different people. Practice going to new places. Practice sifting through the data for the things that feel like you want to feel and using those things to cause you to feel a familiar place. In other words, we want you to feel familiar in your joy. Familiar in your positive expectation, familiar in your knowing that all is well, because this Universe will knock itself out giving you evidence of that Well-being once you find that place. We have enjoyed this interaction immensely. There is great love here for you. We are complete.

    I am a manifestor of emotion. I am a manifestor of my emotion, which means I am a manifestor of my connection between me and me. Which means I can allow, anytime I choose with enough focus and willingness, the FULL blown me to be present here and now.

    Don’t you love knowing that?

    So it’s just a matter of practicing.

  • We got your attention and now you're focussed.

    "I manifest things that are amazing, BUT..." or

    "I manifest things that are amazing, such as..."

    Do Any of you believe us when we say, you're thoughts are constructing
    through-ways, and that manifestation follows them. Do you believe this at ALL? Do your thoughts manifest? Then why would you ever say BUT!! (lots of emphasis on but). Why would you ever construct that side of it, why do you do that?

    "Stuck, Don't Know How To Feel What I Want" Deconstruction Demo



    Abe: You know what you want, you just don't know how to know..you just don't know how to feel it.



    In other words, what you want is to feel free, what you want is to be energized, what you want is to feel good, what you want is for vitality to flow through you, what you want is a never ending stream of great ideas, what you want is a cooperative universe, what you want is to feel powerful and present in the moment, what you want is to be an uplifter, what you want is to be an attractive of others so that you can benefit them by their attention to you, what you want is for dollars to flow in response to what you are doing. In other words, there's never been a statement more inaccurate than the statement that you just made: "I don't know what I want." It's there, you do know what you want, you just didn't know how to feel for it. A lot of people think that they have to see it in full manifestation before they understand it.



    You see...the...



    As we began visiting with all of you through the aparatus that is Esther, what we've accomplished together is we've taken our knowledge of the laws of the universe (and you know the universe too, we're not saying we're the only one who knows them; your life experience has taught you a lot), we've taken these laws of the universe as they exist and as we've visited with so many of our physical friends we are aware that you lock yourselves into patterns that aren't working, but it doesn't keep you from staying locked into the patterns.

     

    So, we're wanting you to shake things up a little bit and that's why we the offer the idea of the vortex so that you can contemplate the now reality, the existence of a vibrational construction proceeds all things that are manifested, a vibrational construction that you have access to right now. And that the only thing that is necessary for you to access it is you have to deactive the vibration that's holding you in some other place.

     

    In the same way that if there were a radio station that you were wanting to hear that was being broadcast, you would have to turn your tuner off of the station that it's on, onto the station that you want to hear, yes?

     

    Guest...Yes. pause.....So it comes down to the "how"? What's going to work for that distraction because I clearly recognize that that distraction gets me off of that stuck vibration and into the vortex?

     

    Abe: Well, here's where we're at and this is the reason that you are a particularly good person to begin this powerful day with...

     

    So, we were talking earlier about this construction. And so, in the construction of this clear vortex of what you want you're like everyone else; you have been very aware of what you don't want. And so there is a creation of what is not wanted that takes place in the process of creating in the vortex what you do want.

     

    Guest: Yeah, well I want to throw a stick of dynamite into that.

     

    Abe: But a stick of dynamite into that only makes it way bigger than it was before you threw a stick of dynamite in. Even THINKING ABOUT throwing a stick of dynamite in it...

     

    In other words...

     

    We just made it bigger, we just constructed it more by attention to it.

    So this is conceptually what we want you to hear. And it's an easy concept, so easy that you'll probably roll your eyes again. (laughter all around)

     

    So, the more specific you are about what you don't want, the more specific what you do want is and the more specific you are about what you don't want the more pulling power it has, the more engaged you are. So, what we want you to realize is that since you can't jump from specifically what you don't want to specifically what you do want because it's vibrationally too big a jump, (no one does it), if you can get less specific, less specific, less specific, less specific, less specific, less specific, less specific so....it goes like this: really specific negatively, a little less specific negatively, a little less specifically negatively, more general negative, more general less negative, general. More general positive, more specific positive, more specific positive, more specific positive, more specific positive, more specific positive until when you get into the vortex you're really really specifically positive and by negative and positive we're talking about fear and anger, hope to elation. We're talking about the emotions that you feel.

     

    So, the games of distraction that we offer and the process that we have found that is the most effective of all is the process of meditation because in the process of meditation there is the quieting of the mind. But in order for this to feel meaningful to you you have to accept some premises that we really want to identify and enhance for you. We want you to accept that this vortex is spinning and that it is powerful and it is the strongest power of attraction that is calling you and if you will stop doing that "thing that you are doing" it will bring you over.

     

    So, as we relay that to you, you keep saying, "No, Abraham. I need to DO something else. I need to think more specifically. And what we've noticed is that when someone is outside the vortex wanting to get in and they decide they're going to do something about it, "I"m going to get more intention, I'm gonna be more specific, I'm gonna do more affirmations", what happens is, (they don't mean for it to happen but it happens every single time) is that they get more specific from the vantage point where they are. It's like the game we play with the Money And The Law Of Attraction Cards. When you "want" something but you're not feeling it and then you ..."I can always tell a different abundance story" (reading from a card)...that's just annoying, that's just annoying, that's just annoying when I'm not in the vortex. These cards, these cards make me want to fling them!

     

    (end quote....audience laughter....Abe continues with the point of how affirming outside the vortex causes amplification of existing vibration and sums up again that the formula is to go from specific to general and in the absense of specific of thought the result is a feeling of being neutral and therefore good feeling...and in that threshold good feeling NOW  specific positives from the vortex will be tranlatable in that general and therefore positive state and those specific positives WILL occur because they already are occurring, we just can't hear them until we relax and become sensitive and wanting enough of that frequency....and by doing just that much...relaxing and becoming sensitive and seeking of that frequency, we will match our vortex vibration enough that it now trains our individual vibrations for awhile. There, so simple :)  ~DS)

     

     

  • The most significant thing we want you to focus upon is just how much better you feel. You’re going to feel, just as a result of this conversation you have participated in with your today, you’re going to feel an edginess lifting off of you. You’re going to feel more tuned to the frequency of your Source.

    It won’t last. [group laughter]

    Such incredible wisdom---so undoubtedly true! I must always be sure to keep in mind this mantra "Later Gater!"
