Andrew has 10+ years experience in the non-profit sector, youth and children in wars as well as the issue of child soldiers. Andrew is a well-known speaker, participating in a number of prestigious international events such as The World Summit on Information Society in Geneva in 2003, Guest Speaker at The Hague International Model United Nations Conference inNetherlands 2004, Guest Speaker at The International Corporations Days Hosted by CIDA and the Canadian Government in Ottawa November 2004, Building a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World in Washington DC 2005, Guest Speaker at The African Now Untold Stories Conference held at Carleton University in Ottawa in 2005, The 1st World Ethics Forum Conference on Leadership and Integrity Keble College Oxford UK 2006, Guest Speaker at Education Without Borders International Student Conference at the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi in February 2007. He has traveled extensively, from Beijing to Moscow, to Washington, to share his vision of using information technology amongst children and war-scarred youth. His efforts have profoundly affected the thinking of young people around the world, from Sierra Leone to Cambodia to Afghanistan.
