About Me:
A bit about me...
First of all, I love life, and feel blessed to be alive. I am married to the love of my life, have two beautiful daughters( both on their own now), and live in a beautiful home in the country. Our pets include an iguana, a bearded dragon, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 17 goats, a flock of turkeys, and 4 alpacas.
I've had various jobs over the years... landscaper, construction worker, seasonal forest firefighting, and tree planting supervisor, however my main lively hood came from working 8 years as a truck driver, and the last 14 years as a machinist.
I enjoy being part of a community, whether online, or off, and served as a volunteer fire fighter and E.M.T. for several years here in our community.
Hobbies: I love working with my hands, whether it be remodeling our home, working on a project car, or building a custom bike (which I did a couple of years ago). I also love to travel, experience new places and things, and meet new people.
My goals for the present future are to meet other like minded people, and work toward having our own successful home based business, so that we can have the freedom, both financially and time wise, to do the things we enjoy, and help the ones we love in the process.
I look forward to meeting you here on this site. Until then... Enjoy life!

Pearls of wisdom from Mrs. Barbara Bush in her commencement address to the 1990 graduates at Wellesley College:
"Cherish your human connections, your relationships with friends and family. For several years, you've had impressed upon you the importance to your career of dedication and hard work. This is true, but as important as your obligations as a doctor, lawyer, or business leader will be, you are a human being first and those human connections -- with spouses, with children, with friends -- are the most important investments you will ever make.
At the end of your life, you will never regret not having passed one more test, not winning one more verdict, or not closing one more deal. You will regret time not spent with a husband, a friend, a child, or a parent."
Bob, your greatest gift with Linda is that you were still in love when she passed beyond the clouds. Her greatest legacy to her family is that she loved her children's father her entire life.
All the best. Mary in Alaska
I know I ran into you somewhere else on line, but I can't remember where. Just thinking of you and hoping you're doing well. LOA has finally started really working for me in the most amazing ways. Every part of my life improves everyday. It took a year or so for it to really get going, but now that it is it is like a snow ball down hill! I wrote a story and published it on the web just a couple weeks ago. I am (with the right key words) the # result on Yahoo mail search, the #5 result on Google and have been nominated for a weekly award on a Hub page. Money comes often and easily, my social life has gone from wall flower to butterfly, my health is perfect, and I find your advice to enjoy life to be so easy to do theses days. Anyway LOA working always makes me think of you. If you get time and want to (it is a bit long) I posted my story on the Blogs here. I think I titled it Play to your strengths and laugh at but learn from your weaknesses.
Hugs,
Bo
